It has been a couple of years since I've last enjoy this establishment's coffee. A lot has changed since then...for one they now serve food. I decides to stop by today and see how the menu was and catch up on some personal work. I was surprised by the new set up was allowed for way more seating then my last visit. There is plenty of work space, though power outlets are limited to those seated at a table near the wall. Not a problem for those who are powered up or will only spend a short amount of time there.

I decided to have the breakfast tacos (the vegetarian friendly option), which were very tasty. The coffee was pretty good too, depending on ones preference of acidity. I would give it a 4 and half star rating out of five.

Like I said there is plenty of work space/ seating which can be hard to find at some of Houston's top coffee shop. So if you are looking for good coffee and a place to get some work done...this is a great spot.

Thus far, Paper Co has provided me with the best coffee out of all the coffee shops in Houston that I've been to. After trying their cortado (the first I had ever had based on the barista's recommendation), I liked it so much that it sent me on a mission to try as many cortados at as many coffee shops as I could to see who had the best one. After going to over a dozen places, and continuing to go over a year later, I have yet to find a place with a better cortado. Paper Co's is rich, flavorful, creamy, and chocolatey. They never fail to serve it hot and to the brim, both features that are often lacking at many other places. While Paper Co does provide the best cortado, it isn't necessarily my favorite place to go overall. Some issues are the difficulty to get here, the significant lack of outlets preventing me from sticking around to do work, and the fact that not all of the drinks are necessarily good. Here is where I am a bit more biased because I don't like their Vietnamese coffee at all, but I've never been to a non-Vietnamese place where I enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee. I would still come here, of course, not only for the cortado but also because I like the large, open atmosphere (it's basically just a big warehouse). I would, and do, highly recommend Paper Co to any coffee lovers.

Great goal and missions. Coffee is roasted on the spot and there is a large placed. Good place to study and chill. Loft like feel. There is a church next door that has a great community outreach program.

Great place to work on laptop and do paperwork, plenty of space and not too loud. Unlike most cafes I didn’t need to move any furniture or ask other patrons to lean in/move a bag in order to get to my seat. Outlets everywhere, great tea and good food. Staff were A+.

Lovely community space with high industrial ceilings and free drip coffee. They’re actually open most Sundays now as their website says. Pull the door hard - it gets stuck.

Very easy-going atmosphere, good wifi, and coffee, tea and food are always delicious! It's a great place to meet with friends or if you need to get some work done. It's never been too crowded either.

A charitable cafe that has great coffees and food at a very reasonable price. Tucked under the overpasses off the beaten path, it's a treasure for coffee, food and getting some work done.

Very impressed with the quality of food and coffee and reading their mission about feeding the homeless made me impressed with their character as well.

This place honestly has some of the best coffee i've ever had.. The prices are very reasonable. They did a great job with designing the space. Can't wait to try more items here!

Absolutely loved the place. Went for the first time today and the people are nice and attentive. Food was delicious especially the turkey melt. Coffee was good. I ordered a latte and enjoyed it. It has a nice ambience and there is a nice view to downtown from there too. Definitely will be coming back!

The coffee is excellent and the interior is spacious and cute. I really enjoyed sitting by the huge windows on this chilly morning to absorb some sunshine with my breakfast. I had the breakfast plate. The potatoes were better than I’d expected them to be, and the bacon was cooked perfectly for my tastes. If you prefer your bacon to be more crispy, ensure you ask for it well-done.

A friend ordered the breakfast sandwich and while the presentation was beautiful, the bacon was a bit underdone, which would have been fine for me but my friend wasn’t too happy with it.

Currently, drip coffee is free refills which is a new thing they’re doing - very worth it!

Both of the staff members working the counter were friendly, polite, and helpful.

And for being a Saturday morning at a place that serves breakfast, it was surprisingly not as busy as some other places can be.

I love coming here to study. It's usually not too busy so you can get a good spot. It has nice long tables in case you need to spread out like I do. There's outlets along the wall.

They also roast their own beans and the coffee is phenomenal! I highly recommend this place.

Paper Co is a great little cafe. You're greeted by a nice garden near the entrance. The staff is extremely friendly. They do all of the standard coffee drinks you'd expect from a coffee shop. My personal favorite drink is their Vietnamese iced coffee. Their food menu has some really great options and they will do their best to accommodate dietary restrictions if you make a request. The inside layout encourages sharing table space and has a community feel to it. There are several picnic tables outside that are a wonderful spot to sit, especially in the morning before the sun hits them.

Checked this place out to get some work done on the laptop. Free wifi and lots of reachable plugs is always a plus for a coffee shop.

Lattes were on point. They were quite large. The lemon poppy seed scone wasn't my thing but still tasty.

The inside has high ceilings and a very modern decor. The place is basically a warehouse and Paper Co is a small part of it.
Relatively quiet with lots of seating and lighting for studying.

The only things I didn't like is that it got a bit too cold for my liking so bring a jacket. The AC blows quite a bit from the ceiling vents

Super friendly staff and great vibes in this hidden gem. The coffee is great and to my surprise the food was great as well. Very fairly priced. Paper Co is part of Ecclesia Church and donates lunch to area homeless persons. When you are buying coffee or food here, you ate supporting a great program as well. Free wifi and vegetarian/vegan options as well!
