The Birds Cafe

I had the 2 piece fish and chips, and a soda, and it came out to a hair over $21 before tip. This is around what I was expecting to pay for a meal in Bodega Bay, and the food was delicious! The fish pieces were a little small so if you're a big appetite person you might want to go with the 3 piece. The patio had a pretty nice view! The food came out quickly. Overall a really nice spot for lunch!

Delicious fresh fish and chips with a Bodega Bay view also highly recommend Clam Chowder, especially on a wet, cold day.

Awesome place to eat! Delicious oysters especially with blue cheese and bacon recommended by Juan Miguel but all of them were very fresh and savoury. Really good wine. The visit in the Bird’s Cafe made our day! Very nice terrace to spend afternoon. High top service, Kind regards to Juan Miguel:)

Stopped in on a drive up the coast. Cool looking little place with bird silhouettes a around. Had the Shrimp and Chips it was great. Don't remember what my wife had but she enjoyed hers as well. Nice stop with plenty of outside seating and nice views. It's a walk up to order and everyone seemed pleasant enough. Will be back and will recommend!

Food is very good. My partner and I had the 3 piece fish and chips with one bowl of clam chowder. Everything was delicious! It's only outside eating on tables and chairs that was on their decking. They also have a coffee shop and a gift shop that were separate from each other.

Some of the most amazing fish tacos I ever had in recent times. The atmosphere, ambience and overall vibes of this place is pretty good. The prices are kinda high but so worth it. Parking is limited. Restroom is just one. Soda was complimentary when I asked. Overall HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This is a lovely little roadside cafe. The setting is beautiful with views of the water. Easy ordering at the counter and then they call your name. They serve sodas, beer, wine and coffee. The fish tacos were good. My sister said the crab roll was yummy.

Literally, every single thing was so fresh and delicious!
It was a little nippy outside, so we were thankful that they provided an indoor option for dining.
If ever in the area, we will definitely return.

Traveling up the coast of California and stopped at the The Birds Cafe for lunch. Yummy food! I ordered the clam chowder; delicious and a very hefty portion! My hubby ordered the fish & chips. He loved it and stated the fish was fresh! We ate on site on their deck overlooking the bay. Wait time for food was great and everything was very clean. Friendly staff. On our next trip to this area we will definitely visit The Birds Cafe again.

Great little outside eatery! This place has a wonderful view with casual dining. You just walk up to the window make your order and they bring it to you on their nice outside patio. You can eat your lunch as you look out over the bay. Prices are affordable what’s the score be a good spot to take families they are also dog friendly

We returned to have a lunch at this place twice, which basically shows how good the place is.
BBQ oysters were delicious, especially given I don’t eat raw sea-food. Lobster roll was simply fantastic, can compete with lobster rolls in Maine, the dressing was so thoughtfully done, I can give this place 10 stars, if the rating would allow. Fish and chips were also good and fresh.

The staff was great taking care of all our needs. The good was good, we had shrimp tacos, clam chowder and fish-n-chips as well as onion rings. Everything was cooked perfectly and our wait was very small.

We popped in for a tasty lunch this afternoon. The fish n chips were tasty, nicely battered and perfectly cooked to a golden brown. The chowder was yummy, nicely seasoned and tasty. I will definitely stop by next time I am in Bodega Bay.

Solid fish and chips and great draft beers. I would recommend the 2-piece over the 3-piece; the fish pieces are large and 3-pieces plus fries was a lot of fried food. 🫠

I tried the butter herb and the bacon Gorgonzola and they were delicious the later were super good
the claim chowder is not your can soup it good and hearty.
Fish and chips the tartar sauce was good but had a little taste of old onions otherwise good.
the fish was nice ,thick and fried to a golden brown almost burned very crispy batter but very tasty.

I couldn't decide what to eat so I ordered the bbq oysters, and the lobster roll with onion rings. I figured I would be needing a box for the rest of the roll
I ate it all...delicious with a local tapped beer.

Excellent food great and very friendly service. Second time here and Ill be coming back again and again. I had the Bbq'd oysters with bacon and gorgonzola cheese fish tacos and the clam chowder which was really good and I pretty biased about clam chowder being from New England.

So much love in their food, wow! One of the best meals we’ve had ever. My husband doesn’t like onions and he loved their onion rings. Oysters both raw and BBQ were outstanding along with artichoke fritters. Highly recommend.
