Robelys Cafe & French Bakery

Absolutely wonderful. Everything was fresh and delicious. Nothing was too sweet.
The lovely lady at the counter happily walked me through the day’s selection. She said it changed every day. Everything looked incredible, it was hard to choose. We ended up with a raspberry and chocolate twist, a pineapple strudel, a croissant breakfast sandwich, a mocha and a cold brew.
The twist and the strudel were perfectly fruity, flaky and soft. The sandwich was freshly made with ham, eggs and cheese. The pistachio croissant was heavenly. Perfectly crusty and flaky, a light pistachio pastry cream in the center, covered in crushed pistachios and sugar, without being overly sweet.
Cannot wait to come back and try more.

Wew, so delicious! The owners and the family helped us out and we felt like super stars. I got a dirty chai and it was one of the best chai's I have ever had. The star of the show is of course the baked goods. The photos do not disappoint. This is a perfect establishment for family, friends and pets on the wonderful outdoor patio. Must try bakery!

Love this place. They have an Horchata coffee that is sooo delicious 😋 and pastries are die for. I also recommend their torta sandwich on a freshly baked French bread. So fresh 😍 and the owners are very welcoming and always making sure you are taken care of.

This place is amazing. The owner was a baker at a French bakery for 15 years and it is reflected in the food. This is by far the best quiche I have ever had. The crust like butter, the filling smooth, rich and perfectly warmed all the way through. My cappuccino exactly as requested. Spot on. Of course the cheese danish was magic. I don’t know why any self respecting foodie would go to the Starbucks across the street. Haha I’m guessing if you’re reading these reviews you won’t be going to Starbucks 🙂

The lady at the counter was so kind! We ordered her last chocolate croissant, 2 creme cheese Danish things, and a cinnamon crispy which were ALL AMAZING! I could tell as soon as I walked in I was about to have the best pastry of my life. They only take cash or zelle to be ready for that when you come in, it is 1000000% worth it. If you're in Ventura please go check them out.

I've been missing a proper French Bakery and Cafe since DuSuro closed, at last all is right again! Robelys is a worthy replacement with a diverse and delicious assortment of rotating pastries. It's a highlight of my day to pop over for a pastry after morning meetings. What I really appreciate is a wide variety of savory choices instead of just sweets. My favorite thus far has been a mushroom and brie croissant.

Coffee was pretty alright! Service was amazing. They constantly check in on us and we’re on top with cleaning around the restaurant:) even gave us some free cookies

Robely’s is great! The owners run it and they are so nice. They have a cool backstory too.

We came for the breakfast burrito (simple, but good), but also the breakfast lasagna which was also good. Can't say I’ve had lasagna for breakfast before that

Their pastries look amazing. We wanted to try everything, but couldn’t.

They so clearly like to work with people and enjoy what they do. Everything was great. We’ll have to go back several times before we’ve tried it all. Great find!

Outstanding warm hospitality, incredible service and jaw dropping morning pastries are the stars of this wonderful place. I will make this a stop every time I’m in town. Free parking garage steps away make it an easy place to spend your morning, it’s a local treasure

I went in to order coffee and walked out with one pork and one chicken tamale. What a treat!! Both were excellent! I can't describe just how delicious these tamales were. It makes me sad I can only order them on Thursdays. Well, done.

This wonderful bakery is the best thing that has happened in Ventura in years! The pastries here are equal to the best anywhere in the city. Truly delectable pastries, and the selection is mind boggling.

Definitely get the pastry called Volovan. The owner explained these ham and Brie filled pastries are similar to those sold on the beaches of Veracruz, Mexico. They will heat them up for you on the spot.

The wonderful thing about the pastries here is that they aren’t overly sweet like pastries often are at other bakeries.

I highly recommend a visit to this great little bakery.

So happy I drove by and saw they were open. Best french, or any, pastries in the area. It's my go to on the weekend for a coffee and something sweet. Every pastry I have had was outstanding so far.

I wanted to keep this secret to myself because if any of you knew how good this place is then I'd have to fight for the last pastry. Ultimately, I've grown too fond of the operators to be greedy with the gauva strudels so I'm writing this to inform the masses that this is undoubtedly the best pastry Cafe in Ventura. Extra points for thier cold brew horchata and amazing customer service.

If I find out you took the last guava strudel on Saturday morning I'll hunt you down

First time there I ordered cinnamon roll a tamal and Mexican wedding cookie.Colombian coffee and hot chocolate. It was delicious and I would definitely go back. I headed over before work so if your in a time crunch come a little earlier.

Great little bakery downtown. I was craving something sweet and it was JUST what this pregnant mama needed. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I was visiting from out of town, and stopped in completely last minute to see if they had anything I could give my daughter for her birthday the next day. They said they could make a cake for her and have it ready the next morning! The cake was beautiful, just perfect, light, fresh and delicious. I also picked up a few pastries, also delicious, and a coffee. Will definitely stop in next time we're in town!

I purchased a custom cake here for my girlfriend’s birthday. It was killer! Rare for everyone at a party to be so stoked on a cake, but they must’ve added some liquid for the cake to soak up while it still maintained it shape/structure perfectly.

10/10 would recommend, and will be back for future cakes. Thanks again for making a special marble cake!

I absolutely love it here! We come to Ventura for the weekend a lot and one of my favorite things to do is to come here and pick out pastries for breakfast the next morning. I love to see what they have that day, it's always something different. Pastries are always fresh and always taste AMAZING and are reasonably priced and the owners are so nice.

Went here before catching the ferry to Channel Islands. We had great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. It was one of the only places open earlier enough and were so glad we stopped in. Everything was really tasty and we only wished we had grabbed some pastries for the road!
