Carroll's Jewelers

I was wandering around the boulevard during the Christmas on Las Olas event and was lured in to Carroll's by all of the shiny things. Carroll's has a long history in the jewelry business. Carroll Seghers started his jewelry career as an advertising executive for Gruen watches. in Cincinnati Ohio in the 1930's he purchased his first jewelry store and named it Carroll's Jewelers. After a few years he relocated to Coral Gables where he hosted a public TV program called Facets. The show led him to open this Las Olas Carroll's Jewelers. Carroll's is one of the original stores in the Las Olas shopping district. Carroll's daughter Jeanne Ann and son in law Robert Moorman took over ownership of the Las Olas store. Carroll's Jewelers is now owned by the fourth generation of the Moorman family.

A pair of earrings caught my eye and Emily came over to help me. They have a lot of beautiful new jewelry and one of a kind estate sale pieces ranging from $150 to many thousands of dollars. They also have a custom design team and a repair department. In addition to jewelry they also sell gifts which include frames, platters, and glass pieces. The store is elegant and beautifully decorated for the holidays. After speaking with Emily it was easy to see why you would choose to shop here. Carroll's offers superior customer service and experience.

I came here recently to have 2 diamond rings made into earrings. I worked with John who was very honest and trustworthy. He was patient and took his time answering all of my questions. The earrings are beautiful. He even offered an umbrella as it started raining as I was leaving. I am very pleased and would not hesitate to do business there again!

Had a wonderful experience creating an anniversary ring for my wife with Carroll’s. It’s a family business and John Moorman made me feel like family throughout the process. Exactly what I was looking for in what can be an expensive, skeptical, and frustrating experience. John and I spoke several times to get the design of the ring right. He was patient and insightful. He gave me his own opinions and thoughts without pushing. I was thoroughly satisfied with the final result and my overall experience…right down to his father wrapping up the ring at the end.

I am very grateful to the Moorman family for being there so long and bringing class to Las Olas. Beautiful items and trinkets to make new memories. For the past several decades we have bought many things and with the utmost of professionalism and expertise.
Once again thank you to John and all for making new memories for us. Much health, peace and joy to all during the start of 2024. May all our wishes and blessings come true. I have been dealing with some health issues since early 2021. Kindness is more important to me than ever before. And returning that kindness. And it doesn’t cost a penny.

This is a wonderful jeweler. I had the privilege of meeting this incredible family of jewelers on my recent visit to Ft. Lauderdale. The service and information provided is top notch and we'll worth a visit. The variety of luxury goods available is just amazing. From diamonds and colored stones in both new and estate formats is a wonder to behold. Add to this a wide variety of home decor items will surely allow anyone to find a special gift or item for one's self. I did walk out with 2 new rings and a new watch band that were well priced and presented. If I return I will be sure to return to this very welcoming institution.

I really didn't go in the store to buy anything. I saw a mickey mouse in the window to take a picture. Then found myself looking at my favorite color Stone. The sales person took her time with me, without pressure and decided to try my ring on. I don't regret the purchase. I've worn it every day since.

Carroll’s has been a place that we visit every October! We love to look at the estate jewelry. John Moorman helped us this time, but we also like Bill. They never rush us and are willingly to show us anything we like. Both men are knowledgeable and don’t oversell.
