Alberto's Clock & Watch Shop

A lovely family shop that cares just as much about putting a battery into a Swatch watch as they do about repairing an antique wall clock or a diamond Movado watch. In addition to Sr. Alberto's expertise and experience, they curate a unique and beautiful selection of clothing, handbags, and jewelry. They often have a tray of cookies for their customers and the atmosphere is always welcoming - you feel as if you're visiting long-lost cousins. Prices have always been very, very reasonable and they've worked wonders with items I've brought in that I expected would be un-repairable. A very special place and Sr. Alberto is a wonderful gentleman, a rare craftsman in this age of impersonal service. They've moved from their previous location south of 17th St. to the little Dunkin Donuts strip mall just before the 17th Street Whole Foods on your right if you're going south on US-1.

I found Alberto's several years ago at his old location on federal highway. He has helped me with several of my watches over the years. He's always helpful, polite, efficient and reasonably priced. I highly recommend his business to anyone who needs help with their timepieces.

Alberto did a full repair and restoration of my 15+ year old Tag Heuer watch. It now works perfectly and he removed all of the scratches from years of use. I would definitely recommend his services.

I needed a SWATCH watch battery replaced and found Alberto’s through online reviews. I arrived to a beautiful upscale shop and thought to myself: “ oh; this man must just work on high end timepieces.” Alberto treated my SWATCH like a ROLEX ! He not only replaced the battery ; but as a courtesy buffed a scratch out on the dial ! It’s easy to understand why this gentleman has been in business for 60 years! Thank you sir!

Best watch repair I've ever been to. Very friendly, fast and courteous. I needed a small tweek on my watch band, Alberto fixed it in less than a few minutes and wouldn't let me pay. Very excellent customer service. Easy to get in and out of the plaza. Very happy with them!

How can I give 10 stars!! I brought in my Casio G Shock, that was taken apart. He quickly put it back together with a new battery. I got my watch again! Super nice people, with genuine class. Went in with over 10 watches and they fixed every single one of them despite having different issues and gave me an amazing price. Definitely recommend. Extremely polite and have no problem explaining what they are doing with the watches.

I haven't received my watch back yet, but so far have been very pleased with the service, estimate, knowledge, and professionalism of Alberto and his daughter. I trust them implicitly to do what is in the best interest of me and the watch, while also not taking advantage of me, and would encourage you to give them the chance to take care of you as well.

I highly recommend this shop. I needed the batteries replaced in 2 watches. They were able to replace them while I waited, which gave me time to look around at all of their beautiful merchandise. The owners were extremely pleasant. It was a pleasure working with them.
