Rachel was the absolute best. She was wonderful to work with, incredibly professional, and her attention to detail was unmatched. I couldn't be happier with the results. My kitchen looks so great! It's flawless.

If you have a piece of furniture that you want done and have been contemplating on who you should have bring it back to life, I promise you one thing, Upcylcled Smithery (Rachel) is hands down, the best. I’m still a bit speechless every time I look at the piece she did for us. The quality of her work is incredible and she as a person, even more so! You will not be disappointed. Shocked, blown away, left absolutely speechless, but never disappointed.

Rachel took a nearly 100 year old very dark heavy china cabinet and transformed it into a gorgeous light and lovely statement piece ready to take on another 100 years! I couldn’t be more pleased with the work!

Rachel is amazing! She painted my kitchen cabinets white and did an outstanding job. I was nervous about such a project but Rachel walked us through the process and we are so satisfied. Our kitchen is beautiful and really exceeded our expectations! Rachel was respectful of our home and she has a strong work ethic. She communicates effectively and does so daily about the process and schedule of work!

She took a vanity that I bought for $50 in college and totally revamped it for me. I sent her a pic on Instagram of one that I liked and she was able to make the same vanity! She was very responsive and so detail oriented! I am currently looking for more furniture in my house to refinish 😂

I have purchased two pieces from Rachel, one she had already refinished and was offering for sale and one custom. Rachel was lovely to deal with on both transactions and I now have two gorgeous and unique pieces. She has such a great ability to see what a old, beat up piece can become and the skill to transform it. Even just looking at pictures of transformations she’s done makes me smile ☺ I’d buy all of them if I could!!

I bought an absolutely gorgeous refinished dresser (it's stunning, and everyone who sees it asks where it is from!) from Rachel at Upcycled Smithery, and was so impressed by everything—the piece, her service, her prompt communication and how friendly and helpful she is—that I've commissioned her to do two pieces for me this summer for my new house. She has been nothing but amazing through the initial process of setting that up, answering questions, offering me ideas and insights, and getting me set for when that work will be able to happen later this summer. I'm so so grateful to have found such a wonderful artist so nearby!

I purchased a shabby-chic dresser from Upcycled Smithery YEARS ago and it is still in tip top shape. Rachel is such a kind and creative soul who truly pours her all into her work. Although my piece was something that Rachel had designed herself, I have seen many custom pieces that she has made for several friends of mine and they are STUNNING! If I could give 10 stars, I would. I know that when I’m ready to renovate my home in the future, I will be calling Rachel. ❤ Thank you for giving your all in everything that you do.

Rachel has refinished a dresser for us and an accent table. Both gorgeous! She was professional, communicated clearly, and very friendly! She is currently also refinishing our kitchen cabinets and tile backsplash! I highly recommend her as she does fantastic work!

Rachel just recently completed updating my kitchen cabinets by beautifully refinishing them and I couldn't love them more. Getting an estimate from her was so easy. in fact she made the whole process form beginning to end easy. She explained in great detail the entire process, helped me with color selection and even sent me links for new knobs when I couldn't find ones I liked. She was punctual, worked long days and always left her work space spic and span clean. She was meticulous when it came to prepping the cabinets, repairing existing damage, painting the cabinets and then touching up spots she wasn't 100% happy with. She even reduced my total bill by subtracting two travel days because she completed some work at home. I LOVE my new cabinets and couldn't be happier with my "new" kitchen. I've texted her a few times with some design questions ("any ideas about my backsplash?") and I have always gotten a prompt reply and great advice. Thanks so much Rachel!

I have had two beautiful pieces done and I am so emphatically pleased with both pieces. I submitted one piece that I liked but was really in bad need of some love and an eye for exactly what I wanted. It turned out perfectly. My second was a larger chest that Rebecca had in her own inventory. It also needed repair and she allowed me to make choices along the way. It now stands proudly at my Salon Studio and it never gets unnoticed! Everyone loves it. She is the best, she is reasonable, and she shows so much excitement for each piece. Highly recommend.
