Food Lion

The store was nicely organized, employees were nice and helpful when reaching for items, or looking for an item, Some employees were stocking shelves and placed their carts on the same aide they were stocking and asked if we were looking for an item behind the cart they were willing to get it for us or move their cart out of the way. Employees were friendly when we entered the store and Friendly at check out. The store is wheelchair accessible and the restrooms clean and sanitary.

There are many aspects of the Food Lion that I like, the veggie area when I first come into the store is always well stocked and fresh. I have always been able to address the service person(s) in the meat area and get various items that I don't see but wanted, and ask questions, put in orders for baked chicken, etc. Workers in other parts of the store are very accessible and helpful, and the cashiers usually give you good service with a smile. Prices aren't too bad right now, and at least it keeps me from going out of the neighborhood to shop at other food stores. I really like shopping in the store.

Had a large heavy set male call me and my ten year old son a liar. We were trying to load a prepaid card. We bought this same card at this very store and they still sell it there. We've loaded it multiple times since we first purchased it. However, the manager told us they don't sell that card and they don't load that card. I went and grabbed the very same card to show him that they do sell it. His reply was "well that don't mean we load it" I said well you can ask my son we've loaded here many times and never had a problem. He then said that me and my son must be confused. I felt insulted and said, well you could've just said you didn't know how to load it instead of implying we're lying 🤥. He then went from professional to street like attitude and invited outside and asked me "what you trying to do" "you got the right one hunny" he then slowly walked away murmuring insults. This was the MANAGER!

Here is a photo of the card that for lion sells and loads. We've done this multiple times. My ten year old was very scared. This man was twice the size of me and for whatever reason seems as if he wanted to take a civil conversation and escalate it. I will be in touch with corporate.

*Edit they either fired the manager or he quit and thinking about it afterwards I think he was using me as an excuse to quit a job he really didn't want to work anyway. With that said. It's a great place with great people who work there.

I love shopping at Millington Maryland food Lion. It's always a nice clean store. The staff is very friendly always helpful!! I will continue to shop there. I have been shopping there since they opened. Keep up the great work!

Great location but almost hidden I almost passed it up. I live in Arizona and came for a visit the people were very nice in that store. Customer service means a lot to me because a lot of places have lost that I did not feel like that place lost it at all thank you so much for such a wonderful visit

Excellent staff and managers. Store is one of the cleanest food stores. Shortage of employees this last Saturday left the store with empty shelves and all the carts scattered across the parking lot. Situation corrected and things back to normal by Sunday morning.
Produce department does not assign stockers to keep up with weekend business.

Great customer service. Staff will stop and assist you and show you what aisle the product that you were asking about and take you to that aisle to locate what you were looking for. Great cashiers and friendly.

Food Lion in Millington is doing an Awesome Job. They are working non-stop to keep the shelves stocked with what we need. Of course as soon as they stock something that is on high demand it goes pretty fast but they are doing all they can. The store is Clean. Things are in order. The staff is wonderful. Great service. Hey this store has all the good stuff - enough to justify our driving a few minutes to get here. There is a real good produce section, a small deli and great selection of all the must-haves at home. We got the MVP App and save $$ too

They had all I needed plus some.

I shop at Millington food lion about timea a week..I know almost everyone that works there..everyone is so polite..everyone says hello and goodbye... The lunch meat department and the meat department are my favorite people.. We all always talk and cut jokes... The meats are always fresh.. The cashiers always talk to me. Always in a great mood and so sweet. The guy in produce always smiles ans says hello..I know where everything is in this store..

I stop in at Food Lion when I am traveling in the area. I find the prices are reasonable, the customer service is good, and the store is clean with well-labeled aisles. Works for me.
