Eric is a stud. He always seems to have time for you even though I’m sure he’s super busy. His shop is amazing with all of the tackle, new and old. and he has a wealth of knowledge of how to fish different waters.

I give this place my highest recommendation. Eric provided sardines and set up my reel, weight and hook so that my son had the best chance to catch a fish. Very nice to talk to. I bet my son will always remember this experience.

Was able to pick up locally made bait. Supporting small businesses.

Such a great shop! I dropped my rod and broke an eye off. I brought it to Eric and he was able to repair it for me. Price was great and work was done in a quick amount of time.
Heading back in today to get new line on a reel. Great shop!

I’m new to Ventura and I was recommended to go to Eric’s for advice. He was very nice and gave me plenty of tips and recommendations, no high pressure sales and his prices are very fair! I’m going to be a regular here for sure!

Great shop! I dropped my rod and broke an eye. I took it in and Eric was able to fix it quickly and for a great price.
I brought my son with me and he LOVED looking around the shop. The shop has a ton or tackle available. You can get lead weights, lures, hooks, rods, reels, and more!

The moment I stepped through the door I could tell this is a real tackle shop. Eric was very helpful and knowledgeable. He gave me the impression that he was there to a good job and not there to rip people off. The prices were reasonable also.

I called before hand, and asked if it would be ok to just stop by and ask questions. Eric was 100% cool with it, I asked him a ton of questions about Bass fishing, and he helped with everything. He even gave a recommendation for help beyond what I was asking. I bought a few roboworms and some top bait, I will definitely support this shop in the future.

Great staff & the best repairs. I Had repaired a Penn reel that needed another fix after first outing a week later and they took care of it, no hassle.

I had never been to Eric’a, but I will for sure becoming back. The guy behind the counter was extremely knowledgeable and helped me pick out some lures for trout fishing for a spinner rod. Went fishing....3rd cast caught a rainbow trout! It should also be noted that I am a very novice fisherman so this has more to due with the lure then me haha. I would recommend this place to any angler of any skill level! Lots of stock and really knowledgeable employees!

I went in to buy a reel and Eric was very nice and knowledgeable. He hooked me up with a nice reel and added 30lb braid, gave me some pointer. Great experience.

Erick is very cool, been buying a bunch of junk poles just to get a feel for fishing, came in and told him where I fish n how I fish and some of the things I liked about the rods I had and the things I didn’t and he recommended a rod, went and tested it out. Love at first cast.
