Impressive facility.

Overview: Ms. Rountree owns a lot of ground in the-middle-of-nowhere-Hiram-Georgia, and she's built numerous facilities around her home: outdoor pool, indoor pool, indoor fields, etc. It's actually pretty cool.

You drive down windy roads past trailer parks and suddenly there it is. Signage is good, but it comes up fast.

Parking is a gravel lot, and there's plenty of it.

Chickens and a sweet dog Abby wander the property. The facilities are great. Sure, they're not necessarily Division 1 University stuff, but they're very impressive, especially for the price. It very much has a common-sense, down-home feel. For example, in the indoor pool, Ms. Rountree has lots of big houseplants lining the windows, and there's a cool rope swing for the kids and more pool toys (noodles, rings, torpedoes, balls) than you can count. Also diving blocks and a diving board. Shallow end is 4 feet, deep end is eight feet.

There's a small playground outside the pool area (some swings, short monkey bars, etc. Even a neat little outdoor pond with a wooden T-rex skeleton.

The indoor pool also has a party room. It looks rather eclectic; it's got picnic tables and workout equipment, but it's all neat and quite welcoming. We loved having our party here. Lots of space, clear rules (e.g., don't bring food into the pool area, no running), and, again, that down-home feel: for instance, Ms. Rountree has a separate bucket for scrap food to feed her chickens and goats.

We really liked it. For being out in the boonies, they are great facilities. Great for parties. Friendly, down-home staff. Don't expect the ritz, but you're not paying for the ritz, either; expect a welcoming, down-home, no-nonsense facility. Loved it. Would recommend and will probably use again.

Oh, Ms. Rountree also does swim lessons, which my son has used, and she's great. Recommended for those, too.

You won't find a place quite like this, I don't think...

Friendly owners. Great happy attitude. Ultra clean pool with seperate kiddie pool. Very economical for a nice swim on a hot sunny day. Located near me. They have a indoor heated pool for team training. Indoor soccer, lacrosse, and baseball range.

Small, “hometown” feel. Two pools to choose from and several sunny or shaded spots to sit in to keep eyes on your children.

There is also a turf playground area behind the main building.

We will absolutely be returning!

Just had my son’s 10th birthday at the small field today and everyone had a blast. The employee that helped us was very kind and even helped us set up some. We will definitely book future birthday parties here from now on.

I had coached out of Roundtree for approx 10 years and now I have the enjoyment of watching my son Coach. Great Place, Very Respectable Staff and I have to say for a sports complex (mostly teenagers and younger) the bathrooms are always very clean .

Hosted my sons birthday party in March and it was a great experience! Definitely booking again!

Great place, friendly atmosphere. Kids really enjoyed the pool. Went there for my great grandbaby birthday party.

This place is pretty awesome. The owner was friendly and clear on pricing. This is a family owned business and they done a great job making indoor options. They have an indoor pool and are currently working on adding two outdoor pools. If you want an excellent and well priced location for an indoor game you should check it out. They even have some basic snacks for after the game.

We unfortunately booked our event with a different facility and were cancelled on at the last minute. Rountree swooped in and completely saved the day. They were so awesome and accommodating. We had an absolute blast celebrating my baby girls 10th birthday! We are so thankful and can not wait to host more events with them in the future!

We love Coach Cheryl! My daughter started taking swim lessons here in the Spring & has learned SO much in a short period of time. Highly recommend this place 😊

We started going to Rountree for swim lessons after one of my kids went there for a birthday party and liked it. Now we go there like 3-4 times a week for the pool, because the place is SO chill. Cheryl and her family & staff are super welcoming and create a fun vibe that is absolutely a rare thing these days. Rountree Rec is a locus of community. This is really a Paulding treasure.

My kids are taking swim lessons and the family loves it. Ms. Cheryl is so nice, knowledgeable and personable. Her approach and technique is awesome, as well as the other instructors as well. There are so many things that you can engage in here. One day she had horses there and my kids were able to come and ride... AWESOME!

This was a very cool place we had never even heard of. Great place for a birthday party, we will definitely be telling friends and family about!

Went to a birthday party last year and now our son will be havonhnhis birthday here!

I am so happy with the experience we have had with coach Cheryl and the swimming lessons our kids received. Our kids could barely float 3 months ago when we started. Today they competed in their first swim meet. Cheryl is patient with the kids and has a system that works. We have tried lessons at the Y and public pools before with little results. Great experience!

The best pool in Paulding! Highly recommend! My daughter also took lessons there last summer and they were wonderful!

Knew very little about this place before today. Very regretful of not learning of this place sooner. It amazed me that the owners were so carefree and hospitable. It's a wonder how this place doesn't have more customers than what I seen while visiting. Will DEFINITELY be back. I even offered to do some voluntary work, not sure if it would be needed, but the environment beckons you to enjoy southern hospitality while whispering at you to be a part of it.

Fou d this place out of chance. Had my sons party here back in November. NERF Battle. This time my sons buddy wanted to have the same party and they did not disappoint. The kids had an amazing time. Staff has been friendly and courteous.

I would highly recommend this place for a birthday party venue! We had a party Dec. 1st on the small field with a bouncy house and the nerf gun battleground package and it was a huge hit. I was celebrating for my 8 year old son and 4 year old daughter, it was perfect, private and very affordable. The staff was very nice and more than helpful. We had a really good time and I am definitely rebooking for my future events and I will recommend them to all of my friends.
