Don Julio Mexican Restaurant Bar & Grill

I love this place. Everything I've had so far has lived up to my expectations. DJ's shrimp tacos were bursting with flavor. I had been craving flan and it didn't disappoint. Our food came quickly and was full of flavor. I like that the wait staff doesn't hover. They give me space and are responsive when I make eye contact. You can't beat the prices.

In my opinion, Don Julio is the best chain of Mexican 🌮🌯 🥑 restaurants in Minnesota. I visited 5 of the 6 restaurants here in MN and they are very consistent in the great service, delicious food and affordable prices. Great place to come with a date, with the family or just with friends. 💯 Recommended.

Some of the best authentic Mexican food I've ever had and incredibly reasonable prices too. Favorite dishes from here are the nachos supreme, beef tip chimichangas, and the Mexi burger from this location specifically because the replace the slice of American with a generous amount of queso that just makes it PERFECT! They are also really good with takeout orders, which usually only take 15 minutes to prepare, unless you get a bigger order.

Very tasty texas fajitas, cheese cakes and margarita. I wish they also had tres leches cake, but they don’t.

Went here for dinner on a weekday. Great service. Food comes out quick in a timely manner. Food was good, large portions. Our favorite was the DJ shrimp tacos.

We were seated quickly and order taken right away. Food was very good service was great but we felt rushed as our server asked us every 3 minutes if everything was good. Then he asked if we needed boxes and gave us our check.we we're there half hour forty minutes at the most. I would still recommend.

This place makes me feel like I'm back in Cancun. I / we absolutely love it here. Chips and salsa are SPOT ON and the fajitas are to die for.....HAPPPY BELLY every time I / we leave here.....

If your haven't been here and are anywhere near North Branch, MN you must give this place a try....:)

Been here a few times now and what can I say, it's a perfect staple Mexican restaurant. Food isn't innovative, but it's properly prepared and delicious. Has a decent sized seafood menu that I haven't tried because I have doubts that they move much of that product, but maybe it's great? North Branch doesn't have a ton of options, so I'm glad this place doesn't use that as an excuse to have mediocre food. It's actually very good. And I love that the hot sauces on the table are great and actually hot.

It's a chain so the drinks are very corporate; lots of different flavors, all light on booze.

Great food and service. We ordered a meal that wasn't what we thought it was going to be the staff noticed and made us a new meal. The Talapia is awesome. Would definitely order this again. Thank you for a wonderful dinner, you made our date night.

Delicous, fresh hot food, quick service and ice cold drinks, never a complaint! Stopped in on the way home from the cabin and love the consistent experience no matter which location I end up going to. Thank you, I will be back!

Another great experience at Don Julio. The staff is amazing, had our drinks almost as soon as we received the menu. It was my son's birthday so everyone from the back came to sing happy birthday to him with his dessert. Not sure why the snow flakes are complaining but we always are treated very well here and the food was spot on, I ordered a skillet came out piping hot and the waiter was very careful around my kids not to burn them as we've had trouble with other restaurants passing plates over their heads tsk tsk. Keep up the good work guys & gals.

We stop at Don Julio's for a Modelo and the lunch special whenever our return from Mpls or St Paul is in the afternoon. A question I have is when will Don Julio's be coming to Duluth?

Ordered chicken fajitas, it was delicious and the portions were HUGE. Took leftovers home and will get two more meals out of it!

Love this place. We go to Forest Lake and North Branch. Always leave happy. The food and staff are fantastic. It's pretty reasonably priced, too.

My table was freshly disinfected before I was allowed to sit. My waiter was really efficient. have a gluten issue and my waiter was really knowledgeable about what I could and couldn't have. If I go back to that area I'll be sure to go back.
