Gladstone Golf Club

First time here (Aug 2021) and am very impressed! Cut out of the UP woods and criss-crosses the Days river. Interesting holes that use the chance in elevation on site, very well.
There are quite a few doglegs and blind shots, so playing the course often will help...and after playing it once, we can't wait to go back.

Challenging, hilly course set in a beautiful wooded surrounding. Lots of hills, narrow fairways, and a flowing river that runs through several holes make for deceptive views and difficult shots. It was a fun, frustrating, and absolutely gorgeous course to play!

Wow…. What an amazing golf course this is. Pictures don’t do this course any justice. The views on the course are breathtaking and calming. The tall pines mixed with strategic elevation changes make this course a lot of fun to play. The staff there is also extremely welcoming. We came up from Wisconsin with a group of 8 guys. The weather wasn’t looking too hot but we managed to play through some occasional light rain. I am going to recommend this course to a lot of my golf friends.

I always find myself bragging about this golf course. The golf course itself is amazing. Great fairways and amazing greens. The real kicker of this course though is the scenery. Beautiful rolling hills that are cut through by the days river surrounded by towering pine trees.

The prices are amazing for how well maintained of a course this is. If I lived closer to this course I would golf it everyday.

What a wonderful course tuff but nit to tuff everything well maintained can not wait to go back absolutely beautiful course if you are around the area try it you will not be disappointed I think this is now probably my most favorite course I have ever played

Great crew, delicious Friday fish fry as well as prime rib, full bar, stocked pro shop with very knowledgeable staff, lessons available along with cart rentals, well kept greens offer amazing views as course is among some of the U.P's finest land, many well built bridges cross the Day's River that cuts through the course, song birds and white tail deer are just a few of the animals that are a common sight to be had in this very picturesque area, popular nature trail adjacent to course, all around great atmosphere and affordable rates make this course an absolute must.

Great course. Great layout, challenging (lots of hills, trees, and water comes into play in about a 1/2 dozen holes) and fairways, tee boxes, and greens, are always in very nice shape. Staff is excellent, friendly, and will take great care of you. While the clubhouse isn't the biggest/best, it has a nice bar area, and you have a great view of the course from the bar and deck area. The Friday night fish fry is outstanding. IMHO you won't find a better golf value in MI. $25 for 18 holes w/cart!?! You're kidding me, right?!?

Gladstone is a must play while in the U.P. We played on a hot deal and it was a total steal. A scenic, beautiful setting that was better than any other course we played in the U.P.

I agree with another reviewer... if I was a local, I would be a member.

Friendly staff. Although we like to walk... this course has too much elevation change to make that... comfortable.

Amazing course, great rates (groupon) polite and friendly service. The greens were fast and really nice topography. No pressure and not pushed by other golfers. Really look forward to coming back for another 18!

I've played the last two days. Truly, I got to say it's one of the best courses I play anywhere. I'm from Gladstone but moved away 30 yrs ago. I return every year for a week. One of my highlights is playing Gladstone Golf Course. It's a blast!!!

When I'm visiting friends near by we always make it a point to play 18 holes.
Fantastic country course with streams and wildlife. Cheap twilight hours price, you'll enjoy yourself. Clubhouse with food and drinks.

Absolutely loved this course. I'm from Toledo, OH. This course had more elevation changes than the entire city of Toledo. I played with my brother-in-law - he is a caddie at Inverness (Toledo's pro level course) - he said that Gladstone was about as well kept as Inverness.
If this wasn't the best course I've ever played (questionable) - it was certainly the best value.
10 out of 10. Would highly recommend. We will be back.

The course is an amazing shape Lou and Moe do great job at that course just got done playing a 4-man scramble Volunteer Fire Department food was awesome prizes great people great and friendly and drinks were flowing I recommend this to anybody that likes to play golf it's also challenging

Course is in fantastic shape! Staff was great, and hole 9 is absolutely stunning, will definitely be back!

We are from down state and this course is beautifully well kept. The elevation changes and the great greens were awesome! Well be back anytime we are in the area!!!

Love this golf course. Beautiful layout with a lot of different types of fairways. Very challenging, and very fun. Great place.
