Beekeeping 201 was an amazing hands on class! They provide the suits and all the tools, so before you make an investment, see if beekeeping feels right to you! The cute homestead is amazing and the sweet bees and wildflowers made for a relaxing and educational Sunday afternoon! I don’t own my own bees so I take classes and play with other people’s bees! 🐝💕

Best resource in Texas for every thing Bees! They have local honey in many flavors, and sizes. They have everything cute with any connection to bees. (Cups, signs, books) great place to find gifts for bee enthusiasts. They offer great "hands on" educational courses about bees, watch others or interact with the bees yourself. They can assist you with supplies, and the network that can help you become a successful bee keeper.

We had an amazing time when I went with my son and friends on a impromptu visit. Becky did a very informative tour and we all learned so much about bees. She was so sweet and extremely patient when our kids had questions. After the tour we shopped in the cute gift store for some honey and bee inspired gifts. We’ll definitely be back for more tours and honey:)

Raw local honey is very good for health. This little store in the country minutes from downtown is reasonably priced. Including raw honey and tours they have other locally made honey related items also reasonably priced.

Such a cute place to visit with family and friends! The owner is so charming and nice! She also speaks Spanish which big plus for my family that only speaks Spanish. She showed us around and even showed us how feed pollen to the bees. And the honey was AMAZING! Highly recommend to come and support local honey keeper.

We did the full Bee Experience, which was a "bucket list" item for us. It was amazing!! Everyone in the store was so friendly and our personal guide, Jesus, was so knowledgeable and willing to share his decades of experience with us. We learned so much about bees and how they live. Just getting suited up in the beekeeping outfits was a thrill. The honey tasting afterward was perfect, moving right into the product that we just experienced the bees producing. We purchased two different delicious varieties. The whiskey barrel flavor was really good. Thanks for a great time!!

Saw a sign for Texas Honey Bee Farm on the highway and decided to stop by. Best decision made all day. Becky was at the gift shop and also did an on the spot tour for us. It was fun to see the bees and learn about them, Becky was very knowledgeable and funny. Also came with a honey tasting which we absolutely loved. Would totally recommend.

This place is amazing! You can see the bees working and they even offer a tour. They also let you taste different types of honey and they're all delicious. The people here are so friendly and helpful. Definitely visit if you want some honey or wax candles, among many other things.

I took the beekeeping 101 and 201 courses and had a blast. All tools and suits were provided, the class ran right on time, and we got lots of time with the hives in the 201 course. I also bought Tanya's book, Beginning Beekeeping, and it's already proving to be a fantastic resource. I'm not installing my first hives for another 6ish months, so I have time to keep researching and I might even take her 201 class again as a refresher. Tanya's classes are a great first step if you're thinking of starting your own hives - highly recommend!!

BEE lieve me, this is a great little place. Laura was very knowledgeable about anything to do with bees and honey.. There is a patio for watching the bees at work. She also had unBeelievable patience with my four year old grandson. She showed him a Queen Bee and her workers in a tiny box. You can sample many different types of honey. TEXAS HONEY BEE FARM is where you want to go for LOCAL HONEY. They also have some entertaining ducks and chickens. Thank you Laura, for explaining how it's possible to have an Agricultural exemption in Hays County. I'll be back
