Acadia Bay Cottages

Oceans Edge Cottage was one of the highlights of our trip! It was clean and comfortable. We loved the peacefulness of the location. There is another cottage next door but it didn’t cause any issues for us. We woke up to the most beautiful sunrises of our entire trip. Nicole was easy to contact and very helpful! We hope to stay here on our next visit to Maine!

We recently stayed at the Acadia Bay Cottages for 8 nights in early August 2023. It was a wonderful relaxing week. The cottages are recently renovated and have numerous windows facing the water. The cottages are feet from the bay and face east giving superb sunrises. The property is very private. The owners, Nicole and Matt, are lovely people and respond quickly if anything is needed. The cottages are in Surry which is close to Ellsworth and Blue Hill so groceries and restaurants are not far away. We'll be back!

We are honored to have this beautiful piece of heaven as part of our memories. My husband and I are staying in Sea Glass, one of two cabins on property (the other being Oceans Edge) and have been here for about a month. The tranquility is unmatched and the views speak for themselves as you can see in the photos. What’s not visible in the photos is all of the thoughtful additions that you would never find in a run of the mill resort or hotel/motel.
The owners really thought of everything for convenience in the kitchen and also have games here for family fun. They have been wonderful to us and maintained the grounds nicely. The decor is very well done and the atmosphere is refreshing. When family and friends ask us if we have any recommendations for a relaxing getaway, Sea Glass and Oceans Edge, in Surry Maine, will always be the answer.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Ocean's Edge cottage a few weeks ago and loved it! The cottage is very well appointed with a stunning view of the water from the moment you walk in the door. The cottages are located approximately 8 miles from Ellsworth and 30 miles from Bar Harbor, which made for easy day trips. We also explored Deere Isle & Stonington. The location is very tranquil, perfect for relaxation & walking on the beach. We spotted seals, a variety of birds, and even a few deer, right from the front lawn! The set up of the 2 cottages make them a perfect choice for families, with the shared covered gazebo and fire pits. And Union River Bay is a beautiful place for kayaking (bring your own). We are already planning our next visit!
