Sunny's Family Restaurant

We had a delicious breakfast here! Friendly and fast service, generous portions and very tasty food. I especially liked that the Benedict omelet was smothered in hollandaise sauce. There were many unique dishes on the breakfast menu that made it hard to decide!

Man what a great small town place to eat. Came here 3 days in a row for breakfast.
Clean, friendly, great food and amazing people. You can even get your name on a coffee cup that goes on a wall if you are a regular. It's this kind of place...👍

I’ve been here twice now and the South of the Border omelette is amazing! Made with jalapeños and chorizo, had a little spice but not bad. Yummy

Another local recommendation, Sunny’s checks all the boxes for a great breakfast place! Cozy interior, friendly and attentive staff, and a great diner vibe. The portions are large and the food comes out fast. I recommend the chicken fried steak or the Benedict omelette. Sunny’s is the heart of the American diner. I’ll be back for more!

Food was amazing and cooked perfectly even with modifications. I unfortunately tend to be picky eater and I was more then impressed. The menu also has a variety that pleasantly surprised me. Service was perfect friendly and attentive. I was welcomed with a smile as soon as I sat down and continued to feel very welcomed and taken care of in a place that seems to have many regulars.

I walked here from the truck stop, 2.6 miles because they have good reviews and I wanted a good breakfast. Walked in and the place was packed, sat down and figured it would take forever to get food but nope, I ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and hash browns and sausage, it didn't take very long at all to get my food, they always kept my coffee full and the food was enough to feed two people and absolutely delicious, their biscuits and sausage gravy is delicious, I walked back to my truck stuffed but it was well worth the walk. I highly recommend going here even if you have to go for a walk to get there.

I love the food most of the employees it is a busy place but they are pretty fast I wish they were open later than 2pm it would be a good place for dinner

The Benedict omelet was amazing. The price could have been a little more affordable. The service was good. One waitress who I assume is the owner because she was working her butt off.

This is by far one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in my life. My meal, the Montana Slamma', is indefinitely the very best burger I have ever had. All components of the burger were excellent, and positively perfect. I wish I could come back again. If you are within the area, heed these words; Go here and experience greatness. North Dakota may claim the slogan, "Be legendary", but this restaurant deserves it instead.

Pancakes were very good, service great, was art funny. Coffee the whole meal. Average price.

But a great variety and the food was really good. Our waiter was friendly and attentive.
We got the Breakfast Chimichanga and split a cinnamon roll.
Very good, we will definitely come back while we're here in Sidney.

This is one of the best restaurants around. My husband and I traveled through Sidney and we stopped in for breakfast. The French toast, eggs, and bacon were Amazing! My husband ordered a Colorado omelet and fell in love with their homemade salsa. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. It was like stopping in to visit friends. Stop in and enjoy some fantastic homestyle cooking. You won't be disappointed.

Sunny's was outstanding with having eaten the BEST omelet in 5 years at this place this morning. As a road traveler of 25 years and having had so many bad breakfast's all over the country I have just about given up eating this meal. I have not had a breakfast this good since the last time I was on the east coast a number of years ago. This was perfection on a plate. Omelet was filled with plenty of fresh vegetables and had plenty of cheese along with great flavor. Hash browns were fresh made and just the right amount of crisp. Toast was buttered and warm. Salsa offered was full of flavor with no hotness and in my opinion was freshly made that morning or recently. The salsa put the omelet over the top. Service was the best I have in quite a while, with my tea glass never going empty and never having to look around for a refill. Food was hot on delivery and a for a picky Texas boy like myself, I look forward to a visit tomorrow for a repeat of this great experience.

Service was incredible. My food was done in less than 10 minutes. Cost was as to be expected these days. 37 dollars for myself and my two toddlers.

Let’s just get to the point. Sunny’s is just good food. Period. Their bread and butter is breakfast and they do it well. You can get it any time through their breakfast/lunch hours. Sadly they are not open for dinner. For those like me from the Deep South, their sweet tea is perfect. They hand patty their sausage, have pretty darn good biscuits and gravy, and have a very eclectic menu with quite a few surprises. I can’t wait to try quite a few of them. On top of that, the staff is very friendly and attentive. They make you feel at home. If you want down home darn good food, I highly suggest you give Sunny’s a try.
