The Cafe Meow

I adopted my best buddy Johnny tonight, it was amazing all the staff at the Cafe made me and Johnny feel so special. I have seen alot of cats being adopted here, but it truly is an amazing experience. I want to say thank you and I hope you know how much the Cafe and ts staff mean to me. It is a very special place with some really great humans and cats. I will continue to come even after my adoption for those very reasons. Once again thanks and keep being awesome

What a great place. The coffee is great, pay a little bit more and you can pet the cute cats within the cat lounge which is definitely worth it. The best part is that all the cats are adoptable. Whether you get a reservation to meet the cats or not, you’re helping the place take care of the cats either way by getting a coffee!

Staff are super friendly and the cats are just as friendly! I love getting the Chai Tea with Apple Cider or the Chai Latte with nutmeg. (I believe there was something else with it..) They have cute items to purchase as well I got some cat wine for my cat.. I’ve always wanted to try that. :) I would definitely adopt one of these babies, but unfortunately I’m moving.

Always a great time at Cafe Meow whether you are stopping in just to get a coffee or if you are going to spend time with the adoptable cats. Service is wonderful and the coffee is delicious. They have the good ice (IYKYK). I always go for an iced Calico it never misses.

An amazing cat cafe! I love how they were able to gather all of the social cats in one place to make them easily adoptive to casual customers. I’ve seen them home several cats since the last time I visited during their bingo night! It’s worth it to come when you feel lonely. All the cats have such a wild personality. I would adopt them all if I could!

We love cat Cafes! We went to the one in Denver, CO, and are so happy you have this one in New Hope, MN! I shared lots of pictures with you all. Some cats will have been adopted by now,as the pictures are from 1 week ago, 10/30/22. We do have cats of our own, so we are accustomed to cat litter smells, but I wanted to give a heads up to non cat owners that it's a little smelly in there. I would even suggest to the Cat Cafe to build ventilated cat litter boxes, so the stinky air goes straight outside and the cat litter lasts a lot longer, even with the best cat litter they have, World's Best!
* I also wish there were more soft areas to sit. A soft rug or more chairs?
* they sell super cute cat things, and lots of yummy treats like coffee, apple cider, brownie
* super nice employees, they explain everything!
* there's happy hour where it's t/w/th (I THINK?) at certain times, at a discount, for 15 min.

Wonderful opportunity to support cats waiting for adoption and to visit with another cat fanatic friend. Great coffee, comfortable and such a friendly atmosphere. Check out Butterscotch, she is shy but sweet and has been waiting for her purr ever home since August!

So glad that there's a Cat Cafe in our area now, for those of us who don't have pets but love them. 🙂 The cat area is spacious with lots of cat trees, perches and hiding spots for the cats. I've had hit-or-miss coffees and teas here but the Italian sodas are a good bet.

Great Cafe and cat rescue. Staff was super helpful and easy to strike up conversation with. Within the cat lounge there are toys, seating for cats and people. There are profiles for each cat within the lounge with photos for easy identification. There were about 20ish cats in the lounge when we visited. In the Cafe portion they sell drinks as merch! Super cute stuff and I want all of it. Next time I visit I'll have to get a drink!

The cafe meow is my favorite place in the twin cities by far! I absolutely love coming in and saying hi to the cats! The staff is always friendly and the drinks are delicious! Many times Ive almost adopted a 3rd cat from here.

The kids LOVED hanging out with the cats!!! So fun. We will go again for sure. If we could adopt a cat we definitely would from here because you can really get a good feel of their personality and see what fits for you.

I’ve gone three times, twice at the New Hope location and once at the MSP location. I’d say they are comparable to one another. The cafe is divided into the coffee area and cat lounge area. The coffee is good for the average coffee drinker and there are a lot of cute names. There are limited pastries. The atmosphere is so inviting and it is nicely decorated! They also have some cute merch. We went during “Happy Meower” which allows you to have 15 or 30 minute sessions at a cheaper rate.

There is a nice divided doorway that separates the sections and signage that lists rules before entering the cat area. Most of the cats are friendly and get along with each other. I’ve been to other cat cafes where the cats are usually hiding and often hiss at each other or at you. These cats are mostly well-socialized with other cats and people. There are also many tables and chairs to sit at in the cat section to allow some cats to come to you. A bulletin board is listed with descriptions of each cat’s personality. If you book an hour session, you will have time to read through them, I didn’t have time during a 30 minute session which is okay to me!

Make sure you book in advance to ensure a time slot or call ahead. I’ve had no issues, workers are very friendly and informative. We absolutely loved it and had the space to ourselves for awhile when we went during the slower hours. A great space to share adoptable fur friends!

The Cafe Meow is doubly amazing, serving both delicious coffee and snacks and providing guests the ability to socialize with cat companions looking for new homes from partner rescue organizations. This new location is spectacular! The space is at least twice the size of the original, but the decor both on the cafe and cat lounge side is familiar. The larger space includes tables to sit inside the cat lounge, more cat towers and more space for the cats to just run and play (or lounge and observe). The Sassy Cat (spicy mocha) is just as good, and the baristas / cat hosts are just as friendly even though they are new and just getting settled in. I spent a really pleasant hour there today and expect to do so again in the future

Great place to get a coffee, an Italian Soda, French Soda, other beverage, and a snack. And then of course kitty time! I did 15 minutes on happy hour which you can begin as soon as you purchase it (don't have to wait until the quarter hour mark, unless the lounge is full).

Wonderful cafe with a unique experience. The coffee was top notch and the kitties were so much fun. The staff goes above and beyond to make the experience memorable. You can see they really care about keeping the cats happy and safe too.

Didn't eat just had coffee which was very good (for someone who is picky). Fun hanging out with cats even if most of them were asleep.

Loved the cats, the cafe drinks and the customer service. Very fun thing to do with a new friend or significant other. Also if you just love cats overall.

Always a great place to go if you like petting cats. All cats are up for adoption and you can being your drinks and treats in the cat room (but no intentional or unintentional sharing). Staff is always friendly. I love the Calico drink.

The best place to be for a cat lover! The lounge is spacious for cats to have their little own privacy and walk around. Easy parking access.
