Kilauea Market + Cafe

Nice looking convenient store. Made a b-line for the cafe and grabbed a bold coffee which was delicious. Also grabbed a lilikoi muffin on the way out which was great for the price.

What a neat, clean, little spot of heaven on this beautiful island.

Breakfast is a highlight in Kilauea at Kilauea Market + Cafe.

Portion was appropriate for the price. I ordered the Kama'aina Breakfast with an extra egg.

Please don't hold this against them as I did not dink them stars for this. I ordered the eggs over hard. The Korean lady, who typically does not make the eggs, made mine. See, they are short staffed here, and in doing so, they are closed a couple of days a week for their community.

The waitress sent them back, and they came back a little more cooked but not over hard. Now please understand if you wanted a typical fried egg, Korean style, phenomenal! Crispy edges, silky soft center, hard to master.

So my order wasn't the exact way I enjoyed an egg.. The waitress wanted them to do the order again. I insisted it was fine because I didn't want the food thrown away because of my issue with an egg cooked.

I will be back. I will tell others to come. If you are particularly about your eggs, just ask if the normal cook is in, or if you enjoy a Korean style fried egg, go for it.

Great little grocery. The people who work here are great. Prices are high, but that's Kaua'i. Meat selection could be expanded, there is usually limited organic chicken. Some local fish and beef. Could improve local produce selection.

Fried chicken is yummy, white meat lightly battered with a sweet, tangy, slightly spicy breading. Goes great with the Mac-potato side. Crispy fish sandwich is super good too, the avocado makes it creamy too.

Well stocked with a variety of healthy and local options. Organic, goat and sheep also non dairy and gluten free items. Plus a liquor wine department, pre-made foods. Yes, they have beer.

Well thought out for many needs.

This is a new building, that is very well laid out. There is a grocery section, a cafe, and a liquor section. The grocery section has a good produce selection. The store seems to focus on specialty items.

The cafe provided good service in spite of the fact that they were short staffed that day. The coffee was really good

Cute market and the food was great! I suggest trying the loaded fries. Iced tea was freshly brewed and tasted good too.

Cleanest and best stocked grocery store we found in the island. Felt kind of like a mini-Whole Foods.

Grocery store - Best selection of quality American natural foods and products! (Wish we had that in this price range in Anchorage, AK.)

Having this market in my home town of Kilauea like my Mom says "is a dream!" It's just the right size not to big and looming for this historically tiny town. We used to have to drive far to get supplies. Inventory is only the best fresh products. It is pricy so if visiting research ahead to adequately plan your food budget.

Wish we would have found this gem sooner - the Cafe has great food at a reasonable price. The Pulehu Ribs
(Pulehu Seasoned, Chimichurri, Pickled Onions) were incredible, and the Lighthouse Burger
(Brioche Bun, Hawaii Meats Beef, Cheddar Cheese,
Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Secret Sauce) was outstanding. We got takeout and brought it back to our Princeville rental. The market is the Hawaiian equivalent of Whole Foods, high quality and super high price.

A beautful variety of organic and specialty items, Great prepared foods to take out or dine in. Especially enjoyed the wine and spirit selections.

Excellent local market, great selection and not as expensive as Foodland. 👍🏻

As a person who visits the north shore lots of times, such as Kilauea, Its great! I came to this store a few days ago, and the pancakes I got was great, even got a strawberry syrup included. I recommend you guys come here for snacks, groceries, and more. Theres also kinds of variety snacks you could buy here, such as chips, cookies, and lots of sweet stuff, and more.

Stopped here for a bathroom and some water and captured by the delicious smell from the lunch counter. We had the marinated shrimp plate with fried rice and the pork rib plate also with fried rice. Um, um! So good we traveled back 2 days later for more. Both days it was very busy. They serve a variety of beers to go with the food.
Also found mango bread and guava bread here. (It's really cake). It's a small but well stocked store.

Clean and well-stocked market with so many goodies! You can find anything from basic drugstore items to fresh fruit, deli meats, and other lunch items. They also have speciality items.

The cafe serves breakfast and lunch items as well as coffee and smoothies. Enjoyed the avocado toast, spam with rice, and Belgian waffles with Iilikoi butter. Yum! The cafe has a small sit down area with a few 2-4 seaters.

Look at that crunchy buttery goodness! Delicious flaky fish and perfected crusted chips. Absolutely loved it!

This is a great stop after visiting the Kilauea Lighthouse to grab some groceries, snacks, drinks, etc...The spicy ahi poke bowl at the Kilauea Market was really good and a generous serving.

Upscale food market selling local produce, and wide variety of products with lower prices than other food markets in the area.

Quite possibly the Taro burger is the best burger I've ever had. The pea sprouts, mushrooms, and pesto sauce blew me away. It is awesome! I will definitely come again on my next visit. Also a nice health food market. If I was a local resident, this is the store I would shop at.
