Great spot for lunch at the beach near Hanalei Bay. Savory selection of tacos and burritos. Highly recommend the Pork tacos, they were excellent! Come early (closer to noon) they do sell out .

Love the food here. I will note that as of 7/28, this looks to be closed (found the truck parked behind the shopping center in Hanalei). My friend found online the owner seems to be out of town. Just double check before planning for lunch here. When it reopens - definitely partake!

Pork burrito with the hot sauce added in is a definite must try!!! Quesadilla was excellent as well!! We’ll be back for sure!

Absolutely love and miss this place...I went here multiple times and tried every item....you cant go wrong but I loved the marlin taco....Highly recommend Pats Taqueria....Great quality and the staff was friendly too:)

Great to get lunch on the island from a fellow Coloradan. The fish tacos were possibly the best I’ve ever had. Got the kiddo a quesadilla and she loved it. Such a fun way to grab lunch at the beach. Would definitely recommend

Ordered the fish burrito, which was just the right size for me and definitely had that Hawaiian flavor in it with pineapple and Ahi tuna. This place is only open for a few hours per day, the line can form quickly and the parking area can be tricky, so keep this in mind. Also cash only, so be prepared!

That being said, the food is absolutely awesome and fresh, I highly recommend.

Best tacos on the island bar none! Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. There is a reason there is a line of locals ordering here. Thanks Pat and team for the amazing food and we will 100% be back on our next trip.

The ‘jalapeno cream cheese quesadilla’ is fantastic! Very spicy, very nice!

Best fish taco’s my husband and I had on our trip. Wished we had both ordered more. Great flavor on the fish with cabbage and mango salsa. So good!

Awesome tacos, had the fish, pork and asada. Quick, laid back, cheap and right on the beach, will go back again.

**tip...when the fresh fish is gone...they are out ...you want to ensure you get fish.. dont wait until 1 or 2 to go then be upset when they are out.
If you eat pork & carne those are awesome as well tho.

Fish tacos on the beach can’t be beat! My kids and I went back for three rounds they were so good! Mixed in a kalua pork taco also which was great.

Hey "Taco Man" your on Google Maps! This is a must go place for anyone visiting Black Pot for the first time. Clearly some of the best tacos on the North Shore of Kauai. You will surely return again and again once you've had one of these great tacos. This little truck has been serving tacos here for a number of years and has become an icon of its own. Sitting on the shore looking out on the water eating tacos it's a match made in heaven. You can always hear the meat sizzling on the grill the tacos are always fresh. Don't be concerned that it's just a little taco truck this food is always fresh well-cooked and seasoned with care. Make sure you sauce your tacos and burritos to your liking, and find a great place near the water to savor these wonderful tacos.

Great tacos and burritos! Our 10 & 8 year old boys loved their food, which is always important. Good price, fast and friendly service. Perfect beach lunch.

I'm accustomed to baja style fish tacos (Southern California) and the fish tacos here are a little different, but in a good way. Really enjoyed the mix of flavors and the grilled fish vs battered/fried as is common with baja style.

Great carne asada & kalua pork tacos by the bay!

Amazing tacos. Tried one fish and one asada, both extremely tasty. A friend got the pork and was blown away by it. I would highly recommend you try this place. Make sure you bring cash!
