Corner Grounds Café

Such a gorgeous spot on the corner in beautiful downtown Odessa. Both photos are taken from my window seat. Super cozy and clean inside with comfy seating; a mix of chairs, sofas, and stools. There are families, couples, friends, and people who came in solo to work (I'm the latter!) Great selection of coffees, teas, bagels, and baked goods! I tried the London Fog which was delicious. Next time I'll have to try adding the lavendar & honey flavors which apparently are the most common requests! Highly recommend this place. So great to have a local coffee shop to support instead of yet another chain!

Parking!
Is NOT as bad as it appears. You can park either in their lot, or directly across the street from their lot, in front of the police station. If you're traveling on 299 Northbound, towards the mall ect., and you're trying to get in and out quickly, pass the opening to the lot, make the next left, park, and walk the 1/2 block back around to coffee shop, OR, make a u-turn and grab a diagonal spot, or one of the many spots in their lot. And back in, if possible.

The Menu:
They get coffee right. Their menu is comprised of coffee and a limited number of food items. And WOW, this is a GREAT thing! This focus on coffee allows them to serve up the BEST espresso in the city. And with this espresso being the foundation of some of their other coffee drinks, each and every one of their drinks is made to order, and absolutely phenomenal.

The Service:
May they never change their recipe for attention to detail, and the fine art of providing a great customer experience. The entire staff are attentive and present with you in the ordering process, and as you wait. You place your order, a name is written, the easy text option to join their rewards program is offered, then payment; and only moments later, the magic begins behind the counter. And in what usually feels like an average of 3 or so minutes, your coffee is done, and perfect. Now granted I'm only ordering myself a double espresso, however, it's the same experience as when I order my wife's lattè. Just great coffee over and over again, even on different days and times of the week!

The Atmosphere:
The coffee shop is warm and welcoming. And while the coffee is served fast, you're never feeling rushed or hurried. The indoor seating is comfortable, without feeling old or stuffy. Getting in/out and around the shop, parking lot and entry, is easy and ADA compliant.

A great local treat. Friendly staff with great bagels. Their in house drink specials /creations are amazing. I've been coming for a while now and haven't had a bad sandwich or coffee yet. This is my go to location for catching up with friends or meeting with clients. Also, I run into friends everytime I stop in. Corner Grounds is quickly turning into the locals favorite coffee cafe.

As my generation would put it… this place SLAPS! Coffee is top tier! We have been 10+ times since opening, and each time Corner Grounds is solidifying its self as the #1 coffee shop locally. Employees are so friendly, owner is almost always on site and is super proactive. The atmosphere is able to take the weight off your shoulders as soon as you step in the door! It’s exhilarating watching this place come into its own.

Cute cafe, matcha was delicious. I will say both my husband and I got the largest size cup and both of our hot drinks were only ¾ full of liquid and the rest foam, but both tasted delicious. Parking is extremely limited, only a handful of spots in the lot so keep this in mind if you plan to visit. I visited during the first week so I cannot fault them for running out of most of the bagel options by the time I got there. I have high hopes for the success of this place!

Tried for the first time this morning. The latte I got was incredible. They made the wrong flavor the first time, but quickly corrected. Customer service is top notch and the coffee…. Best espresso I’ve had in a long time. I also got a bagel that was excellent. The cafe itself is adorably decorated, warm and comfortable. I love the basket of blankets by the bathrooms. I didn’t stay to hang out this time because it was super busy, but I will be back for sure. Starbucks will be seeing a lot less of me.

Cutest place!!! Such a pleasant, warm and cozy atmosphere… It was so wonderful to look around the sitting area and see people of all ages just congregating and chatting and enjoying coffee together! It felt very homey. All the employees were so polite, kind and helpful. The coffee was amazing, delicious and with unique flavors. Also the service was fast! We even got free flowers for Valentine’s Day! How awesome is that? We parked along the main road, and had no problem finding a spot. I’m so thankful that this new coffee shop is in our community and we highly recommend it!

This is exactly what our area needed! Ever since they opened a month ago I have been countless times. Their staff is so friendly and helpful coming up with new flavour combinations and their coffee is the best I have had. I have never been a fan of cold brew before but it is so smooth and delicious! I am also over the moon of the rotating flavour coffee flights every week. The owner Kevin is always out making sure everyone is happy and helping his team. The parking can be difficult but their coffee is worth it!

I love this place! The atmosphere is wonderful, it is cute inside and very cozy, a wonderful place to read a book or get some work done. The staff were all so nice and helpful with all my questions; and one of the staff members even grabbed straws for my friend and I so we wouldn’t have to. I got a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese and a maple hot chocolate with oatmilk and although the place was packed, my food and coffee came out within 5 minutes of ordering. Everything was delicious and everyone is so sweet here. My friend got a maple iced coffee and that was equally as delicious.

I was so excited to see this little cafe bring life to a building I’ve known for decades! Great coffee, friendly service, and a beautiful comfortable clean environment! I am so excited to have Corner Grounds Cafe join our community!

Loved everything about this place! From the friendly staff to the amazing coffee and bagels! We came with a large group (and kids) and felt very welcomed! This will definitely be our weekly spot! The cold brew with cold foam was one of the best I’ve had!

Where is the 10 stars on here. My first time coming in and everyone was super helpful and cheerful. I had so many coffee options and many pastries to pick from. It was a great stop before heading to pick up my niece. The apple Danish was just perfection!

I love coffee but don't drink it too often, this place has some amazing beverages though, probably some of if not the best coffee drinks I've ever had. Seriously it's very delicious.

Their little pastries and bagels are great too!

Only issue is that parking can tend to be a little difficult due to its positioning on the corner of rt 13 by the police station. Maybe if they keep getting positive support they'll be able to expand or redo how the parking lot is set up.

Stopped in for the first time today and I will definitely be back. I ordered an Iced coffee and received a delicious smooth coffee that has an excellent flavor. The bundle cake and cookies really were the icing on the cake for a wonderful visit. I wish I had time to relax in this cozy Cafe but I was off to work! The girls behind the counter were sweet and kind and got me on my way in no time at all!!

Being a coffee snob this was one of the best coffees I have had in a while. I had a basic caramel latte with almond milk and it was so good. The staff was super friendly. The space is very clean and so cute . I will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely LOVE the new Corner Grounds. Highly recommend the cold brew, the maple latte with a dash of cinnamon on top, the freshly squeezed lemonade and chocolate chip cookies (my daughter’s favorite!) And the best part…. For all my fellow NYers, the bagels served at Corner Ground are from the Bronx! They are delicious and flavorful just like home. Whether it’s a weekday or weekend this place is my favorite for ☕ and 🥯! Go check them out for yourselves and see what all the hype is about. You won’t be disappointed!🤩

Lived in Middletown for going on 11 years now and have always wondered when the old abandoned service station on Route 13 would either be torn down or rejuvenated into something cool. Turns out it was rejuvenated into something that's indeed very cool. Coffee is pretty good and place has a laid back vibe. Putting some breakfast sandwiches on the menu might be worth looking into. Might be cool if they start selling coffee beans as well (although I don't think they roast on site just yet).

My wife and I literally have been here everyday since they opened and we love it. The atmosphere, the drinks, everything about it is positive. Owner is present and active in every part of the operation, I have told so many people about this place , great job.

This place has become my go-to coffee shop. It’s so cozy in there. I grabbed a blanket and enjoyed my maple cinnamon latte. The girls in there were happy to help personalize a drink for me and suggested so many others for next time!
