House of Chocolate

Michael is a lifesaver! I needed to pick up flowers and chocolate covered strawberries for clients. I didn’t realize the hours of operation were not updated on Google or on the entrance signage, and arrived after the closed. It happens that Michael was still in the area and happened to stop by, so he kindly opened up the shop to help us (along with a few others who showed up)! Saved me from having to schlep across the town and back during traffic hour. The packaging of the bouquets was lovely and very thoughtful, and the chocolate covered strawberries were fresh and beautifully presented. Price is worth it for the service and attention to detail. Thank you Michael and the House of Chocolate/Flowers!

A beautiful upscale international chocolate and pastry shop. I got walnut and pistachio ma'amouls ($5 each). Lovely things to look at, delicious things to eat.

Wow! I was so happy to stumble upon House of Chocolate and House of Flowers today on my way to visiting my mom’s grave at Arlington: they were so helpful and the flowers and chocolate are amazing.

Very pleased with my first time experience here. The chocolate was very good . I was advised to buy a box because it’s a better choice for your money. I asked if the chocolate I wanted would be in my box. He wasn’t 100 percent sure, so the kind man gave me the one I wanted at no extra Cost.

Beautiful restaurant with a phenomenal manager. The apricot nugget pistachio was a little piece of heaven.

The House of Chocolate created a beautiful gift box with perfect and beautiful chocolate covered strawberries. My friend loved the gift! The store is gorgeous and the owners are so helpful! We highly recommend House of Chocolate (part of House of Flowers) in Washington, D.C.

Stopped by this Friday after ordering at House of Flowers, the shop is set up really beautifully and is covered in so many sweets and treats I have never even heard of before! I brought home some delicious hand-dipped chocolate strawberries and they were quickly eaten. Filled with so much unique, beautiful decor and is staffed by such friendly helpful people!!

Found this hidden gem when visiting their flower shop next door. The store is lovely and they have an amazing variety of chocolate displayed beautifully throughout. Mary was very sweet and showed us around the store and even gave us a chocolate to sample, which was so good! This is a great location if you work in downtown and need to get a coworker a birthday gift; I'm not aware of any other high end chocolate shops in the area.

House of chocolates is definitely the place to go if you have a sweet tooth like me. They have so many different chocolates from all over the world, many which are new to me. I recently gifted a box to a friend and it was very well received, of course I had to get one for myself too. Friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere. Will be back 😉 🍫 ❤

The art with how they formed their chocolate strawberries was divine. They were juicy and savory and definitely worth a visit.
