Top Town Cafe

My family and I were devastated when we were told The Bear House in Top Town was closing.

I was happy to hear they later consolidated with another location in Sky Forrest.

Today, while out and about with my Bestie, I was told another business opened in the location of the former Top Town, Bear House.

WELL, imagine my delight and surprise when we opened the door and spied a super familiar and friendly face. Brianna (Bri),

Needless to say it felt like a homecoming. Super efficient, professional, and friendly service. Bri, took our orders and made sure all of our food allergy requests were honored. Billy and David did their part to make sure we had a warm and friendly visit.

I liked it when it was the Bear family restaurant because the bears were adorable and the art work was AMAZING 👏. I really miss that, but all things considered, The food is really good and the staff is nice and I continue to go over and over. I do recommend it if you are in the area.

Food I have had has been awesome. Have had the meatloaf, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, chicken fried steak, eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs with all the fixins. All were delicious. Portions are generous you will not walk away hungry for sure. The coffee is good too. Here is something i found amazing is that they make the Holandais sauce per order and from scratch, not something you see now a days (easier to use a mix). The prices are very reasonable

The staff is very personable, it is a mountain cafe basically a down to earth people. Actually had a waitress Crystal called me darlin I felt like I was home. Besides the food she is the reason I came back and will continue to do so. All the staff are friendly and attentive. They have an extensive menu, breakfast, lunch and dinner. From Mexican fare to all the comfort food you can handle.

Do yourself a favor you have to check this place out if you find yourself in Crestline. I cant wait to go back.

A small local Cafe that offers breakfast all day with lunch options such as burgers, hot/ cold sandwiches, Mexican food and other items. Dinner is served after 4pm, which I have not tried as I ate lunch only. The food was great, I had a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. 2nd time there I had the pastrami dip with fries. I look forward to trying their breakfast and maybe if possible try dinner as well. Definitely a great place, with friendly staff, to enjoy a meal!

Older place that resembles what may have once been a home. With that said very good home cooked food as well. Place is located across from the Fire Station.

Food is very good. The chef has been there for years and he always makes a perfect dish. The new owner is making a great effort taking things slow. It's a good team doing their best. Worth the visit.

I highly recommend getting the Taco salad here, they make it really well cooked, especially the carne asada, and vegitatarian options! The shell of the taco is made just right, and really crisp and tasty. This is my favorite dish here I always get. :) the servers are always helpful, and ask if we need anything, they are amazing! (try their delicious brownies too, at the front counter. : )

Thank you Esperanza for always being a good host and treating all the Customers we'll! Great service and friendly people here, this restaurant really makes the mountain ⛰ atmosphere and space have good friendly vibes and it's a good place to come to right when you enter Top Town :) .

I highly recommend coming here with friends and family that are visiting the mountain life and also want to be introduced to dining on the mountain, with good connections and history around the area, this is a must visit to enjoy the well made food with great prices.

I always run into people that i know from the mountain, and the more you come here, you will feel like family 👪 :)
