CVS on Farmington Avenue is closing on 5/1/2023 and moving to the Boulevard shops in West Hartford off of 1044 Boulevard West Hartford.

I appreciate the pharmacist’s willingness to listen and make note of my individual Rx need. Good to have a neighborhood pharmacy that will listen and be trustworthy. Thank you!

The staff has been polite to me recently. My overall impression is very good.

The lady cashier in pharmacy has been very patienting and welling to help me updating my insurance info.

I have to say it appears that CVS is listening. Eddie the pharmacist is really hitting it out of the park for us these past few months. Thank you CVS and thank you Eddie for showing us that you can be a part of our small community. Great work !!

Ok. Didn't have what I needed, but friendly

HIPAA issue : all their prescriptions are front facing right behind the pharm tech checking you out clearly visible.

I can name 3 people off the top of my head and what meds they are getting refilled right now.

For me to think to write a review, it has to be either very bad or very good. The CVS pharmacy at Bishops Corner has a REALLY RUDE pharmacist. I was in to pick up an RX and was standing where there was a hastily made sign that said “pick up”. I was told to go to one side of the sign, then the other. I was apparently not following the confusing instructions correctly, so I got YELLED at in a very condescending voice by who i’m assuming was the head pharmacist in back. I wasn’t the only confused one, either. The only thing that saved the trip was the kind woman at check out. Think i’m switching back to Walgreens. (and btw I know how staffing, etc issues these days make work hard for EVERYone, but please be kind and courteous, it costs you nothing).

We moved our prescriptions here after the cvs in target closed. Nothing but awful experiences ever since. This is how I learned that not all cvs locations are created equal! And apparently based on these reviews they have been terrible since long before the other one closed. I had thought it was just an issue of understaffing, but wow. I guess we’ll have to switch everything over to Walgreens.

My pediatrician called in an inhaler for my son. We waited all day for the pharmacy to call and eventually I went in. At 4:30 PM They told me it won’t be in stock for six days. You would think they would let me know so we could transfer it to another pharmacy. They don’t care about people. It would be smart to avoid calling your prescriptions in to this pharmacy.

There is no bigger clown college on the planet than the CVS at Bishops Corner/Main Street, West Hartford. Notoriously understaffed and understocked, be prepared to wait 30 minutes or more only to find out they are out of stock for your prescription and that you will have to come back tomorrow.

Couldn’t let me know that medication for my son wasn’t in stock 5 HOURS after the prescription was sent over until I went in to get it and they were just lost. Had to send it to another CVS which I had to wait another hour for. Unbelievable truly.

Worst Pharmacy Ever!!! If you must go to CVS in West Hartford, choose the one in Target, the one on N Main Street is horrid. Just got back from the ER, can’t get my husband’s medicine because apparently CVS doesn’t know how to staff or get the idea of rotating lunches. Now we have to go back to the ER. Do yourself a favor and choose WALGREENS instead of this second rate pharmacy!!!

Employee Josh heard me on my phone and said snotty little remarks because he heard his name. I don't know him, but my boss is named Josh also, and who I was actually talking about. I don't need people, especially workers on the clock, harassing me because of a misunderstanding. Keep it professional please.

The worst pharmacy in USA they closed on lunch 1:30 and nobody knows about thus poor extremely poor management

Extremely horrible customer service. They don’t care for their customers. You will always hear we are short on staff. The folks working there are extremely rude and unhelpful. Stay away from this pharmacy.

Awful Pharmacy personnel. One lady was texting on her phone and watching her iWatch for text while trying to fill my Rx's? Really, that is not what I need when medicines are being cared for. After 3 calls (4th call was on hold for 20 minutes until I hung up) and a visit they STILL did not get the Rx transfer correct completed. I went back (staying) to the other CVS across from Stop&Shop.. They know customer service. Get your act together 344 S Main St.
