Metropolis Coffee

Prices are as expected. Very bright and lively coffee shop. The best coffee shop to work/study in the area. There’s ample seating and a covered outdoor area. Visit multiple coffee shops to work at every week, I get the most done here. The music isn’t too loud and the people aren’t either.
Service is quick and the drinks are great.

As a barista myself, I was highly impressed by the coffee and baristas here!! I got an iced drink and an espresso, but I could hear and see her steaming milk and it looked and sounded perfect. The espresso was incredible—good extraction and flavor profile and I even watched the barista pull another shot when she wasn’t happy with the first (green flag!!) The music, art, and general atmosphere are lovely and ideal for focus/working in my opinion. Busy coffee shop without being overwhelming. I wish I lived in Denver so I could keep coming here!!

Quiet spot in the Denver Golden Triangle. Very cool use of the space. Has a nice atmosphere and coffee to match. Very chilled out and relaxed atmosphere. Dairy free milks options, and some interesting sounding specials. Would definitely come back.

Love their chai latte! It’s also a nice space with big windows.

Great cafe for nice coffee and bakery-style snacks. Great service. WiFi available, so decent place for working. Can get a meal in walking distance, so good place for working and taking breaks for food

Nice coffee shop with simple decor and menu. Quiet location. Cortado was stronger than others I've had and that is fine--flavor still good.

I went for the first time today and I’ll definitely be back. The atmosphere is open and bright, with nice art and a lot of plants. The oat milk latte and chocolate croissant were great as well!

What a cute little hang out! Stopped by Metropolis coffee on a whim and I am so glad I did! Didn't try the food but the coffee was delicious. I had a skim mocha- and I could swear it wasn't skim milk. If was so rich and creamy! The atmosphere is very "local neighborhood". I saw a few people come in and greet others they knew that just happened to be there too! The only drawback is the parking in the area is a bit difficult. But it is well worth the effort!

Best latte I’ve had in Denver so far. There are plenty of small tables to do work and a couple nice places to sit and read or chat with a friend. If you’re going to read or relax, I recommend bringing noise canceling headphones. If you sit outside, there’s construction nearby and the seats are right next to a road; inside, the music is usually pretty loud.

Space: counter, table, and lounge chair options. Room for about 30 people. High ceiling, sunny space with outdoor views.
Bathroom: with purchase, coded, out in shared space.
Great carefully made foamy and steamed drinks.
They also offer Italian sodas, in a variety of seasonal and regular flavors.

This Metropolis coffee is hidden in the Golden triangle neighborhood of Denver and never seems to get too busy. It is my go-to spot for meeting up with people, as I can always find parking. This is a no nonsense coffee shop with everything from an Americano to a Cortado. They used to sell empanadas a few years ago but they don't do that anymore 😢. One of my favorite coffee shops in Denver have been visiting since 2008.

Great coffee, awesome fall flavors right now, and super kind and talented baristas! Love that this is my neighborhood coffee shop, it's quality!! A great place to sit and have coffee with a friend, hang out, or study as well. Good vibes here.

Great space. Yummy coffee and pastries. I loved their raspberry cream cheese pastry. Only downside is they don’t have anything to warm up the pastries with.

I live very close to this coffee shop, and I've had just as good coffee here as I've had anywhere else in Denver. They have amazing cold brews, fantastic empanadas, and they have art for purchase on the walls. The service is very quick and friendly, and the place is always busy, but never has too long of a line.
