Sonoma Spice Queen

I first discovered Sonoma Spice Queen around Christmastime, poking into the store with my toddler to find mulling spices, hot cocoa mix and any other culinary treasures that would make for quality, useful and delicious gifts.

We were greeted by Wind, the shop owner, who we soon were laughing and exchanging stories with. She was genuinely kind to my toddler, who had gotten swept away by the creative seasonal displays throughout the store.

Since that first visit, we make sure to stop into Sonoma Spice Queen every time we visit downtown Petaluma. It’s where we get the best spices and ingredients for our kitchen. And Wind creates a uniquely welcoming, whimsical and memorable shopping experience. She and her shop are true treasures for downtown Petaluma.

We went there when she was closed on a Monday but she so happened to be there so she let us in and let us look around, we found many different spices we like and purchased them. Super nice lady and awsome selection. If you use spices this is a place to go, she deals with organic certified and knows her stuff.

Great selection of organic products, all salt free, very satisfying to taste buds! Wind is an perfect purveyor of her product specialities and provides excellent service!
