Definitely not a chain store so go by and look around you might find what you're looking for weather it's a guitar 🎸🔉🔊🎵🎶🎶🎶 or some other instruments. Absolutely amazing guys I got a ESP arrow military green it’s a best got a great deal with an amp and a case and a wall mount. I always get my strings here as well, I have been going here since 8th grade I am now a senior in high school would go anywhere else.

I have bought quite a few instruments here and have appreciated the great prices and service.

When I first got out here to Tucson I was looking for a good shop. This place got some bad reviews. Since then I've been only going to stick to the strings. I don't get what the bad rap is. These guys are great. He's always got the coolest amps, the most original gear and vintage gear that I've seen anywhere in town. Now I'll tell you about their service. Their guitar tech is awesome. I brought in a 12-string and I got it back. It looks like a new instrument. It's never played so well. They will continue to get all the work on my guitar's going forward.

So, this is my recent experience at Sticks and Strings.
On April 11 of 2022 I was visiting my family in Tucson from out of state and was walking to Walmart when I passed by the store and, as anyone who plays guitar would wont to do, stopped in to check it out.
I talked with Tony about guitars, and he mentioned the Teton brand. I live in New England and I had never heard of it. So, he took me to the guitar room and I tried a couple of them. And they sounded great. A fellow by the name of Warren came in to top off the water in the humidifier and I asked him about these guitars. He really liked them. However, the one he plays was not in stock at the store. But he let me play his. It was the Walnut Auditorium Bear Claw Acoustic/Electric. I was looking for something this size and it fit perfectly, the sound was really nice, and the guitar was set up unbelievably—I half-jokingly asked him if he would sell it to me.
Warren also had a Martin, and he let me play that one…. the set up on this was striking as well. The action was almost that of an electric and no buzz and harmonics rang out beautifully.
So long story short, Tony said he could order me the Teton Bearclaw I liked from the manufacture and have them ship it to me. I told him I would buy one of these guitars from his store but ONLY if Warren set it up. He agreed, gave me a price quote that included the guitar a case, and (important to me) the shipping and set up. And I paid for it on the spot. Exactly six weeks later, on May 23, 2022, the guitar arrived, it was set up perfectly, and played and sounded just as I had remembered it at the store.
I never contacted Tony during those six weeks because he was the one who reached out to me by emails and calling me to let me know the status all along the way.
Needless to say, my experience with this store, as recounted above, was extremely positive.

My daughter and I came into the store to browse around. It was a great experience! I’ve been looking for an amp and my daughter needed a keyboard. Tony help us out in such a manner that he created an atmosphere of “your money is welcomed here but your more welcome here”! Well Tony made us a great deal for all our music needs so that we could go home a play some music. It was a smooth and easy transaction. I’m sure everyone walked away happy.
I will definitely be returning to Sticks and Strings for our future needs. Thanks Tony you’re awesome!!!

When I walked in the store, Tony (Owner ) approached me in a very nice way. He is a really nice man and because of his down to earth approach, I ended up buying some really nice stuff and he gave me a really good deal. I will go back! Rick! Tony and I have become good friends in the music world ! I can call him for something and he will put it together for you ! He always pulls through for me !!!

I was referred by Michael Ortiz he's a great artist on the radio. So I trust his judgement. I walked into sticks not strings and they were the nicest people I've ever met. They have great stuff and great prices. I perform with the guitar I got at all my shows and it's never gave me issues great quality. And the price was a steal.

Excellent service. Bought a guitar a year ago (which was excellent quality and value by the way), came back in today to get a box for it to ship to my father... the owner remembered me and gave me a box for free. I'll be back!

I loved the experience I had when I walked in this store. The staff was very accomidating. They listened to my needs an met them with amazing deals and suggestions. I will not go to another music store ever. This store won me over. Aside from customer service and hospitality the quality of their gear exceeds my expectations for the price. I refer all my musician friends here.

I went here a few months ago to get my bass strings fixed and they went the extra mile. Not only did they fix my strings but they also cleaned and polished it. When i got it back it looked amazing and felt brand new!

I absolutely love music ,Ive been looking for a great store to purchase a few items for my home studio i was referred by nick he told me that was the place to go. I was very impressed with there selections ,wonderful customer service, and cleanliness. I most definitely would recommend sticks and strings to everyone! I will continue to go there also considering taking a few classes which they offer.

Just bought another guitar lol, Tony's the bom

Went into the store to buy a few guitar cables, came out with everything I wanted, and more. Employees never talked over me- they treated me like they needed me. I even asked if I could try one of their Strats, because I've been dreaming about playing one for a few months; these guys set me up in a studio and let me play a $1500 Amp without even knowing who I was lol. They trusted me not to damage their stuff, and treated me like a god. This place ROCKS.

I was referred by Mic Ortiz and Nick Wambolt to this store. Now i dont go anywhere else for my music supplies. This is the only store where the owner actually introduces himself to the customers and is willing to personally work with you. I love the quality of the gear i get. If you've never been to this location i highly encourage you to visit and give them a try.
