Itsy Bitsy Play Cafe

Tried this place today with my 18 month old. Absolutely loved it! The person working was a mom and had her kids there, so cool. Other parents there all sort of worked together to keep everyone safe. Kids all had a blast. Was clean, safe environment. So stoked it’s so close to home. I loved visiting with other moms (and dads) and getting to know their kids. Definitely going to be coming here a lot for socialization and sense of community for my little one and myself.

Cute place to take kids to play! My friend and I took a 1 year old, 2 year old, and a 4 year old there and they all had fun! A great variety of toys for different age ranges. The slide was nice because it was easily accessible for a variety of age ranges. Also my iced vanilla latte was really good! Definitely recommend!

Incredible fun for our 3 year-old. Sooooo many different toys. Tasty espresso drinks (and I'm picky). Priced well. Owner is an angel - I thought I'd have to yank my little man out during a really bad tantrum, and she was able to take him aside and calm him.

Wonderful coffee. Had the chocolate muffin also and was fantastic. There was a lot of very fun, interesting and interactive things for young children to enjoy. We will be going back often. The parking was also convenient. Plenty of places for parents to sit and watch their children.

Absolutely love this place. My 18 month old adores going here and the price is great. For my kiddo to play and a coffee for me it's under $11 which is a freaking steal. The coffee is wonderful as well. My BFF and I love going here so the kiddo can play and we can hang. The workers are always wonderful.

This is a great hidden gem of Grand Rapids that offers a kid friendly environment with great coffee. This is a small business worth investing and visiting.

We loved spending our morning here! I have two kids 6 months and 2 years and they were both entertained the whole time. They have a lot of great larger installations as well as lots of good smaller toys. It is very clean, the owner was regularly cleaning while we were there too. The pricing is fair and competitive with the other play cafes in the area. Clear sight lines at all times. And they really thought of the babies as well! Lots of exercausers, a gated area, and even a rocking chair! Such a great new addition to the community!

We rented Itsy Bitsy for my son's 9th birthday. Before the party, I messaged them with loads of questions (he's neurodivergent and very into playing/toys) because he's on the older end for a play cafe and I wanted to be sure it would be a good fit. With a winter bday in Michigan, we often end up at places like Chuck E Cheese and it's pure chaos. We liked the idea of having our own space (and not having to host in our own home) that wasn't chaotic. This place absolutely checked off all of our boxes! They even brought in some extra things specifically for my son. He had a wonderful time and wasn't overwhelmed at all. We will be back in the future for open play and will very likely be renting the space for future events!

This play cafe was the PERFECT place to host a playdate for the MotherWell ministry! I'm the coordinator for this mom's mentoring group and it was a delight to work with Lisa, the owner at Itsy Bitsy, to mutually benefit the young moms. She was responsive and flexible, helpful, and welcoming. I highly recommend this company for small or large group rentals!

Such a cute and fun place to sit back and relax while your kiddos have fun. I have a 4 yr old and a 9 month old and they BOTH have so much fun at Itsy Bitsy. There is so much to do, staff is very friendly and on top of cleaning, the coffee is fantastic.

I always have the best time coming here with my son! Family owned business who makes amazing coffee and has such a cute arrangement of toys for our babies/toddlers/kids to play with.

Its a 20ish min drive from me, and I will gladly make the drive to have some fun time with my son. 10/10 recommend.

Great spot! Brought our one year old and enjoyed some great coffee! Place was very clean and lots of toys for kids of all ages!

Fun place to take the kiddos to the lots of different play activity options/toys!

It was a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The seasonal latte was so good and I loved you could refill regular coffee on the house! We stayed for an hour and a half it it was enjoyable.

My daughter had a wonderful time and enjoyed playing with everything and meeting new friends. Good quality toys and variety.

They need better signage outside or on the window when they are at capacity. This is what other play cafes do. It’s frustrating to get your kids all ready and out of the car only to walk inside the entrance and find all the doors locked and a sign *inside* that it’s at capacity.

Such a fun, relaxing place to bring your kids.
