I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Academy Sports + Outdoors store in Frisco, TX, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. From a sports enthusiast's perspective, this store is a treasure trove. They have an extensive range of sports equipment, clothing, and gear that caters to various interests and skill levels.

The store layout was well-organized, making it easy to find what I was looking for. The staff were knowledgeable and eager to assist, which is always a plus. I appreciate when I can get expert advice when making a purchase.

Yesterday, I went to pick up an order and ended up exchanging the item. The original clerk didn't know how to do the transaction. Nick ended up helping us. As he helped us he also help his other coworkers, without getting overwhelmed, mad or annoyed. If he isn't the manager he should be. Glad he was able to help us with our purchase.

Sort of a scaled down version of Scheels or Bass Pro Shop, they've got everything from fan gear to sporting goods, ammo, active wear, and everything in between.

We came in for the Grassfed Tallow from Fatworks. They are a supplier for that brand. Pricing was great, and it was nice not having to wait for delivery.

Checkout service was slow - even though there weren't a lot of customers, but it was still a positive experience.

The staff was very helpful, and patient. The store crew lifted a very heavy grill into our car and they turned down a tip. Very honest people

Awesome. They have a wide selection of stuff and it is always reasonably priced.

I was delighted when Academy Sports and Outdoors opened a new store within biking distance of my home. Not only do they have a great selection of clothing, equipment, and gear, the store is located at FM423 and 380!

For me, having this store nearby has been a great advantage in saving me time and money.

Had an amazing experience here, first time purchasing football gear for my son so I was a little lost. Paul was the gentleman that helped me and he did an amazing job, He was patient and made sure I left with everything on my order. He was really nice and customer service was great!! This location never fails when it comes to customer service. We’ve been here multiple times, usually for very specific items and if they don’t have it in stock they always go above and beyond to get it delivered to our home.

We went to look for a good fit of new shoes for hubby. I usually try on and then shop online to get for great price.
We were served by Carl in the shoe department. What an amazing guy, he solved our problems and sold us not one but 2 pairs of shoes. Brooks for support $139.98 and Sketchers for comfort $89.98.
He was so pleasant and informative. Kudos to Carl and to Academy Sports for hiring him. I never once thought about searching online for a better price.

The associates are always so friendly and HELPFUL at this location! They have a greeter at the front door (JOHN) who is SO sweet and genuinely asks if you had a good shopping experience on your way out. Kudos to the store manager! ...You've got a great team.👍🏼

Store is clean and very organized. Great selection of just about everything! I mean look at all these Crocs! 😅 Employees were very willing to help, whether finding something or just being friendly at the register. Happy to have this location here on 380. Will definitely shop here again.

Really great store. Staff is super helpful, and their product selections and prices are actually really pretty good. Cashiers have always been super nice too, which goes a long way for me.

Went browsing to try on comfortable shoes for hubby.
We met Carl in the shoe department and what an amazing man. He honed in on two selections that were exactly what we were looking for. A Brooks shoe with orthotic athletic shoe and a Secthers slip on that was the ultimate in comfort. We purchased both. Had it not been for Carl we would probably have just walked out. A $278.00 total purchase totally because of him. Kudos to Carl, at Highway 380 in Texas a new store.
