Panera Bread

Got a little cabin fever while working from home, so I headed out to get some lunch and work from a place with a little different scenery.

Deviated from my favorite --- Cream of Chicken with Wild Rice soup --- and got the Autumn Harvest soup in a bread bowl. I signed up for rewards on their app and got a free pumpkin cookie, too.

Both items were delicious. Seriously, that cookie wasn't made of cardboard like a lot of places. It was mildly sweet and soft --- totally legit.

Service was great, including getting a refund when I was charged for the free cookie. She handled it quickly and with grace.

Comfortable seats are hard to find these days since it seems a lot of places don't want you working from their establishment. But this was great, I was able to get some things done, and didn't have to sit on Starbucks' tree stump chairs, so it was a win-win.

The only thing I'd change is the GIANT spoons they serve the soup with. It was ridiculously large and I almost couldn't use it. 😅 Despite that, I'll be back again.

Just maybe I'll bring my own spoon. 🤷‍♀

Honor church comes here every Tuesday at 6:30. Panera always has great food and great service! The soup is excellent!

Went before closing! The girls hooked it up! Especially the one that made the salad!! Everything turned out great!

Elise is the leader here at this location. And you can see how she cares about her staff, cares about her guests and cares about the quality of food!!! She is a trifecta on awesomeness!!!

Great new location, the staff is amazing! A must have is the spinach and bacon souffle. Devine is definitely the best host, he made me a custom drink that I would have never tried, with passion papaya green tea and agave lemonade, now it is a must have whenever I visit.

The manager is awesome, the staff is amazing! Would recommend to anyone to stop in and enjoy the food and service

Love their salads and mac n cheese. Tried the toasted cheese sandwich today, that was good too. As well as the tomato soup.

We've picked up food here twice and it is amazing. Our soup and sandwiches were delicious.

Addendum: I can't remember how many times we've been back to this location, but every time we go we love everything.

When I’m out showing properties, sometimes I need a Green Tea from Panera Bread. Actually it was the first time I had it. I give it 5 stars and I gave $5 😆 I got some change back though. Rowlett at GB & 66

Great place to meet up with friends & not be rushed. Very clean. Staff is always courteous, knowledgeable & in a good mood. Awesome food. Baja salad with chicken is WONDERFUL!! The orange scones are very good, and always fresh.

The SWEETEST employee took my order, his name was Jaden and was so patient with us and just incredibly warm and friendly. I've ALWAYS had excellent customer service at this Panera, its one of the reasons I often think of it when I'm wondering where to eat. Wonderful employees, good food, good prices. Definitely one of my top go-to places!!

This is one of the best restaurants in this chain i have eaten at. I have tons of food allergies. The manager happened to walk by and ask how the food was. I was hesitant to say that the feta cheese would react with me. He insisted i let him have my food remade. I will always and forever recommend this location if anyone is ever in Rowlett. He was very empathetic to my food allergies and needs. It is not every day one is able to converse with the manager. Please take the time to visit if ever you’re near during the day. He was kind, professional and had the best greeting.

I had a lot to say about this place and not much of it was good, but recently they've really turned around. Any complaint I had initially has been improved upon and at this point, you can go to this location expecting your order to be taken quickly and fulfilled accurately, in a positive interaction with the staff. I've had a much more enjoyable experience here lately and am probably going to continue renewing my coffee subscription.

I don't usually go to Panera. I only go to meet with friends. The food is good, but not something I would go frequently for. However, as far as meeting places go, it is good. We get our lunch and drinks and we can spend almost three hours talking and catching up, with no interruptions from the waiting staff.

Walked in and was instantly was shocked in the looks of this Panera. Definitely seems new and modern compared to other Paneras. The food was delicious and very seasoned, I've had bad experiences with Panera before, but THIS one definitely hit the spot. The total of my order was $21 for 2 pastries and 2 coffees, so its not on the cheaper side but I'm sure there were more affordable items on the menu. Will come back here for more because it was not busy and yummy.
