I am so happy I chose to have my little ones 1st birthday here! All the kids even of older age had so much fun playing! The help I received from staff was amazing!

Today I joined my daughter and granddaughter for an Easter function. This was my 1st time there and their 2nd time. Everything was planned out and organized well. Not so many people that there was chaos. The owners were present and very nice. All the staff greeted us. This is a very nice set up! My granddaughter is 15 months and this place makes her real happy!

I recently visited PlayCafe with my two young children, and I have to say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. Owners Matt and Michelle have truly created a haven that perfectly caters to both children and their parents.

From the moment we walked in, it was clear that Matt and Michelle understand the unique needs of young families. The play area is incredibly well-designed, with a variety of safe, engaging activities that kept my kids entertained for hours. Every corner of the space is thoughtfully arranged to spark imagination and encourage active play, from the colorful climbing structures to the creative play stations.

What truly sets PlayCafe apart, though, is how well they accommodate parents. The seating area is comfortable and strategically placed so that you can keep an eye on your little ones while enjoying a well-deserved break. The café offers a great selection of refreshments, from freshly brewed coffee to healthy snacks, making it easy to relax and refuel.

Moreover, the entire facility is impeccably clean and well-maintained, which is a testament to the care and dedication Matt and Michelle put into their business. They are always on hand to greet you with a warm smile and are genuinely invested in ensuring that every family has a positive experience.

In a world where finding a place that both children and parents can enjoy equally is rare, PlayCafe stands out as a true gem. It's clear that Matt and Michelle have poured their hearts into creating a space that understands and meets the needs of families. I highly recommend PlayCafe to anyone looking for an all-around great place for kids to play and parents to relax. We will definitely be returning soon!

I was very impressed and satisfied with this area for kids. Very cool place to bring in kiddos and let them tire themselves out and socialize.
The food available is tasty and the staff was very friendly and attentive.
If it is your first time going, check out their website for all the details so you are not surprised by prices or the fact that it is a playground, so like any playground, you should still pay attention to your kids. Great new asset for the parents of Yakima!

I was delighted to spend my morning with my son and husband at Play/Café
The food is DELICIOUS! I had a grilled chicken pesto and is the best sandwich I ever had. The play and dining area are super clean which I love and the customer service was great. I recommend to anyone who's trying to have their toddler socialize with other kids and at the same time spend quality time with your partner.

Really enjoyed bringing my son here! He loved the assortment of toys/play areas and I was able to peacefully enjoy my HOT coffee. Nice to see cafes like this in Yakima.

My 2.5 year old didn't want to leave! There are so many great activities to do and things to explore. It's also a great place to make new friends and learn new skills from other kids.
It would be great to have a location in East Valley 😉

Had my daughter's 3rd birthday party here. Staff is so helpful when setting up and giving ideas on how to set up. Party planning/ set up is always stressful to me but this time, I was able to feel much more relaxed and present! Such a great place! My daughter and her little friends had a blast 🥳❤

The toys and activities for kids are fun and exciting. My 1.5-year-old loves spending time in the kid kitchen! They have slides, blocks, and studs to build structures, carts, walls with gears, a baby and toddler section, and more. Parents can join their kids in the play area or sit on the perimeter while enjoying tea or coffee.

A wonderful place to grab a coffee, red bull, or tea. They also have light snacks and adult beverages if desired. The kids have an incredible area to play around in, while you enjoy a light repast.

First time here and my daughter absolutely loved it. Very clean, and neat. Safe for kids to play and have a great time while you enjoy some coffee. Definitely coming back.

Lovely facilities with kind and happy staff. The play area is well laid out with many age appropriate activities. Bathrooms are clean.

5 stars! Very clean, delicious coffee, and a good variety of toys. Especially loved that they have a corner for children from 0-18 months. My 15 month old had a blast today. As someone with a degree in early childhood education, I was impressed by the age appropriate and open-ended toys! So much fun!!

This place is fantastic! My daughters love it. I was in Yakima on vacation, but needed to get some work done and Play/Cafe was a life saver! My kids played safely for 2 hours while I typed reports and sipped a fantastic wine. Lots of moms were in the play area and I noticed no fights over toys or bullying. The owner stays were he can easily view all the kids as well, so this place is really safe.

Love having a place to take my toddler that's indoors so she can be social. Staff is friendly and helpful

What an asset to Yakima! I was able to read, eat lunch, and just relax and enjoy watching my youngest kiddos (4 & 6) play for hours. The space is large and open, everything is clean, staff is super friendly and informative.
The drop-in pricing is fair, and there are several membership or punchcard options for even more savings.
We homeschool and I’m very excited to be able to bring my older son and work one-on-one with him while the younger kiddos are engaged in play close by.
Also, they are testing out staying open until 8pm on Friday nights. We popped back in with dad in the evening for a local beer and some more play time, did not disappoint!

Highly recommend Play/Cafe to friends with small kids! Such a sweet set up, perfect for those encouraging imaginative play with montessori toys or just wanting their children to have more social interaction with others.

Great spot for families with young children! I love the concept here. A space for children 6 years old or younger to play in a play area designed by educators with age appropriate food and drink choices for the kids, and tasty paninis, coffee (locally roasted), and well chosen local beer/wine for the parents.Their party program is fantastic as well. Excited to have them in our area!

Best young kids place in the valley. Best mocha I've ever had! The panini was amazing! The toys are clean, the entire palce is spotless!! The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. The kids have a blast here and the parents get to enjoy themselves here as well!
