Very clean very nice people very good service and the food was top-notch

Love it. First time coming here and they did not disappoint. First off the ambiance is really nice. It is super clean and so are the bathrooms. The salt, ketchup, etc were all clean with no sticky residue, food, etc. The waitresses were friendly and came to check on us a few times. Food came out hot and fresh very quickly. It was good quality meat. Everything was seasoned but not overly seasoned. It was just right. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. They don't stay open all hours though so check the hours so you can try this fine establishment.

Cute place! Great breakfast, generous portions, good coffee. Bigger on the inside than it appears from the street.

What can I say. This is our favorite restaurant. The food is so so terrific and their homemade pies are ridiculous. Some of the best I've ever had. I know it's a breakfast place, but they also serve lunch items which I order regularly. My personal favorite is a fried chicken salad. Never had anything like it. The prices are reasonable... definitely worth it! The people treat you like family. I just love this place..

My husbands favorite spot here in Beloit. Food is always great and fresh. Coffee is the bomb here too. Highly recommended!

Very good food... friendly staff... just a little pricey

Greeted and seated quickly. The waitress was prompt and courteous. My coffee cup was always full. She was on the ball!

After looking over a very extensive menu, I opted for the the chilaquiles. The tortillas were crispy and soaked in salsa verde, topped with chorizo and two eggs. I opted for rice and beans on the side instead of hashbrowns.

The portion was very generous and I really enjoyed the chilaquiles. It was delicious and I ate almost every bite! But in all honesty, the rice and beans both fell short on flavor and texture and I could not eat it.

I will be stopping in again to try the poblano skillet with hashbrowns. :)

I highly recommend Johnny's Cafe. We ate there for the first time today, and we will return often. The Food is so delicious, and large portions. The prices are very reasonable. I am telling everyone I know how Fantastic this place is!!

When asked where my Dad wanted to eat, he always suggested "Johnny's Cafe" in Shopko Mall. Fast forward a few years & their new location, my cousin & her daughter wanted to meet for lunch, she suggested "Johnny's Cafe". It was the same as I remembered, pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, great food!😊

This might be our new favorite breakfast spot in town! Delicious food, good prices, fast service, friendly employees, and plenty of menu options for breakfast and lunch. You won't regret trying it!

Have been coming to this cafe since they were in the shopko plaza! Best breakfast spot in town. Food is delicious, lots of options at a great price.
The only thing they need is some background noise, like a TV or radio

We were in town for a wedding and stopped here on a whim for Sunday breakfast. We had an egg skillet, country fried steak, sausage, bacon, eggs, OMG It was all AMAZING. Service was quick, froendly and clean atmosphere. We told everyone in the area we knew that if they haven't tried Johnny's, they should. We are ao glad we stopped.

Probably the best breakfast I've ever had in a restaurant. My family just moved here from Denver and we stopped at Johnny's on Christmas Eve morning, we have now made it our go to breakfast spot. Absolutely delicious, hot, made to order food (and the staff is super friendly!)

If you like attentive wait staff, this is the place for you. They are amazing. The food is very good, an excellent value for your money. I really miss the Friday night fish fry. Their fish was excellent. Wholesome family run restaurant and we are return customers!

Why didn't anyone TELL us they have a great selection of Mexican flavors at Johnny's Cafe on Prairie?! We haven't even gotten our food yet and I already have the feeling that we'll be back! Nice and big inside, plenty of seating. Me gusta!!
