Stopped by here while visiting friends in the area.

Great quality espresso and other coffee-based drinks.

Highly recommend the Mexican Mocha if you're not sure what to try! Drive through can be busy, but inside is usually pretty quiet.

When we visited Oregon, this coffee shop was one of our favorites and one of places we came back to repeatedly.

Drinks are good and they have a wide selection of choices available, but their pastries are next level. We recommend the berry pop tart thing, which sounds stupid, but is undeniably incredible. They made the adult, gourmet version of something you can’t eat anymore because you’re old and it hurts your teeth and it is awesome.

Love their Coffee , truly better than anywhere else around, especially Starbucks. Not to mention the super friendly staff that makes you feel welcome and will remember your name and your drink! They have never made feel like I am a bother to them and I feel that is a huge point in customer service these days as it something that lacks prevalently out there

My personal favorite is an iced carmel blondie. It's a white mocha with carmel pretty much. I love this coffee over starbucks and Dutch bros. They are nice at this location and have never messed up a drink of mine. The line can get long but they work quickly.

Update: still a great establishment. Their tablet died so they didn't know my order but it was ready anyway. Amidst the flustered they didn't give me a straw so thankfully I was going back home and just put it in a travel mug.

Lovely ladies great coffee. The line can be long when people take their sweet a$$ time but coffee is delicious and close to my house. Getting in and out of the location can be a bit tricky but worth it. Please open the indoor dining so we can chill there

The baristas here are always so kind and helpful. I had a problem with my drink at another location and they made it right. They always are so cheerful and have me leaving feeling in a better mood. Thanks for the consistently good drinks!

Fast, friendly service. Had the Jackhammer and a maple cronut. Both tasted great and I'd be happy to go back any time.

Yesterday I had the pixie stick fuel and it was soooo good.

Super friendly staff and good location off Stark near Hogan. A little easy to miss if you don’t turn soon enough. This is my favorite spot to grab my morning latte on my way to work.

I just moved to this area and I have been looking for a new coffee place for a couple of months. I have to say that the girl that helped me was amazing. When I go to a new place I always ask the barista what their favorite drink is and she gave me the most flavorful amazing drink I could ever hope for. I ordered one of their breakfast pastries, which was like a homemade Pop tart, and it was to die for I loved it so much. I definitely found my new coffee place.

Everytime I come here, I'm greeted by friendly and sociable staff.

Black Rock has the SMOOTHEST cold brew I've had and is by far my favorite in town!
There are plenty of specialty drinks, both strong and sweet depending on your taste.

Their energy drinks (Fuel) are much easier to drink than most energy drinks. It gives you the pep without biting you when you drink it.

If you're lucky to go when there is stock of the baked goods and breakfast items, I absolutely recommend it for a snack! (The toaster pastry is a personal fave on the sweet end.)

My favorite coffee shop. Quick drive thru and get what you ordered, usually no waiting.

While I am not a daily patron, I visit this location often enough to say that the staff is always incredibly friendly and appreciative of my business. I know it's always awkward for them to ask if I want to tip, a lot of times they just skip, but when I am asked, they always express gratitude that I do. The product is pretty great too. I would absolutely recommend the Black Rock in Troutdale!

After you've gone a couple of times they remember your name. All workers are friendly. Food and coffee are fresh.

Have you ever noticed that every coffee place has there own special menu. And special words and that if your used to one coffee place and you go to a new coffee place and try to use the same words from your old coffee place at your new coffee shop they don't respond and do what you expect them do with your drinks like the old coffee shop did so it leads to frustration!! And your thinking its a coffee shop they should be universal with there language but NO there not!!

So that was my frustration here and this Very Compassionate Manager here was helping me thru messenger messages. And I give this place a 5 star because the Manager really cares about there business and making sure the customers understand and are happy and when a order is wrong they try to fix it and Thank you for taking time to teach me too 😁.

4/10/22 Today we went there and I’m trying to loose weight for a up coming surgery so I needed to drink sugar free and I asked them if they had fruit flavored sugar free and they said yes that was exciting to hear cause the coffee shop down in wood village doesn’t. So she named a few like strawberry, peach, raspberry, and a few others. So I got a sugar free peach Italian soda no milk with whip cream and I just have to say how delicious it was!! I couldn’t even tell it was sugar free!! And I can give up milk but I still love my whip cream and a little won’t hurt me lol lol. I even thanked them for having sugar free fruit. My husband had Carmel blonder sugar free and he used milk substitute almond milk. And he liked his. He’s diabetic.

Every time I go to Black Rock they are warm and welcoming and always call me by my name! Their sizes are awesome and quality is always great. The inside is welcoming and allows large groups to come and enjoy exh other's company! Thanks for the great coffee BR!

This is the best Black Rock around. First of all their customer service is amazing! Secondly the wait times are minimal. I can usually get in and out in 5 minutes. Aside from this specific Black Rock station, I love their sugar free options!!
