Cafe Dodie quickly became my favorite local coffee shop after my first visit and my love for this place has only grown. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming. The staff are kind and their service is outstanding. The drinks never disappoint, and the constant rotation of flavors keeps me excited and coming back for more (though I’d still come back even if it was the same few drinks). Lydia and Troy have truly created something special here. Their love for others is so evident in the intentionality of Cafe Dodie. Everything they do embodies their phrase, showing us that we are “well loved.”

Cafe Dodie is BY FAR the best place around to get a coffee/tea. They hand-craft every drink and have lots of incredible specials with recipes you simply cannot find elsewhere. The environment is welcoming, fun, & whimsical! When you go there often, the staff WILL get to know your name and more about you; I love that. So thankful for Lydia & Troy opening this wonderful place of gathering for our little area. I know that I am always welcome! I seriously can’t say enough about how much this little coffee shop means to me!

Lydia & Troy, the owners, are literal GEMS. They have such a welcoming, bright, and lovely place. I randomly found them on instagram or google?? not sure, but due to the small place lydia & troy started talking to my bf and i and we immediately connected. they’re so fun to talk to and OH YEAH.. the main thing… the coffee? amazing. matcha? so good. just an overall amazing place ❤ owners are so genuine & appreciative of EVERYTHING.✨ Support local!!!

At Cafe Dodie you can expect to be welcomed & thanked for visiting. You should also expect to be engaged & made to feel part of their community, their family & to be loved upon & cared for. Troy & Lydia are truly amazing, authentic people who love what they do & who love hosting these community/family get-togethers. They took this small space in Davidsville, PA & transformed it into a whimsical cafe with bright colors & fun vibes that just make you smile. There’s even a space with fun things to keep young children engaged.

Lydia created a delightful & well thought menu of beverages that are sure to please everyone from the coffee/latte lovers out there to kids & others who prefer non-caffeinated drinks. She has monthly & weekly special drink recipes in addition to their regular menu. You may find a favorite that you want to come back to time & again or maybe you’re like me & want to try every beverage on the menu along with all the specials. You will very likely desire to go back to engage with your new family.

I cannot give a higher recommendation...so do yourself, your family, your friends a favor & take them to Cafe Dodie to join Troy & Lydia's family & partake in amazing beverages while you are there.

Truly a wonderful, whimsical little shop that is centered around family and community. Not only was my latte exceptionally delicious, the owners Lydia & Troy are so inviting and kind. It is an incredible place to hangout and I am so excited to come back!

I absolutely love Cafe Dodie! Stopped by on my way through town when I was in the area and wish I lived closer! The menu is creative and delicious! I love the innovative drinks the owner creates, as well as the classics on the menu. They have vegan choices for milk (aware and knowledgeable about allergens).

The ambiance is cozy and light and the owners are so incredibly kind! The environment has children’s toys and is family friendly. If you get a chance, you should definitely go.

FAVORITE COFFEE SHOP. This tiny cafe is unassuming on the outside, filled with such joy and color on the inside. The owners make you feel right at home and they curated drinks that encourage you to step a bit outside of your comfort zone with coffee. I was skeptical at first about some of the combinations (I'm not a very adventurous person), but I have yet to have a drink that I didn't throughly enjoy. Even if you aren't in the Davidsville area, it's totally worth the drive for the friendly service and lovely coffee.

The experience starts as soon as you enter the lime green door! You’re immediately greeted by the owners, Lydia and Troy, who are upbeat and extremely personable. They are truly wonderful and genuine humans, who make you feel at home, and the conversation flows smoothly. That in itself is means the world to us. Let’s not forget this is a coffee shop. The coffee is great; it’s both adventurous and delicious. I love that Lydia, continues to surprise me with specialty cortados .

This is such a cute, little coffee spot. It’s so welcoming as soon as you walk in. I loved every part about it. Stopped here on our way home and I’m so happy that we did. The service and coffee was fantastic.

I drove about 15-20 minutes to Cafe Dodie because it was one of the closest coffee shops to me (and it had a 5 star rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) Well worth the drive! Their menu options all sounded amazing. The hardest part was deciding what to try. I did order 4 drinks for 2 people and only wish I could have ordered one of each of their specialties. The only down side is I'm not sure if I'll ever be in the area again to stop by and visit Cafe Dodie! Also had a lovely conversation with the owners husband and wife. If you're close by stop in!

Dodie is just the best. Lydia & Troy are some of the most kind and genuine people you'll ever meet and they've created a cafe that mirrors their personalities. Every time we walk in we are greeted with smiles and support by the baristas. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and you'll want to linger in this cozy space. Oh, and....the drinks are delicious!! Lydia is a wizard when it comes to creating new specials each month.

Go for a visit. Your heart will fill right up here. And I dare you to leave having had less than two drinks!

Highly recommend Cafe Dodie, amazing owners, staff, drinks, and atmosphere. The amount of time and commitment Troy and Lydia put into their cafe, drinks, and customers is so thoughtful and wonderful. We stop by at least once a week.

Cute and approachable coffee shop! Unique flavors but it still seems like it has something to satisfy everyone. I really liked that you could do everything hot or iced.

This place exudes the same level of comfort as its beautiful owners. There is no shortage of things you can feel both safe and comfortable doing here -- reading your favorite novel, bothering the lovely barista to no end, or sitting and catching up with friends you have not seen in a while. Cafe Dodie is the ideal place to feel completely welcomed and at home while enjoying delicious and amazing drinks that you have not seen before. I frequent this shop not only because of its remarkable people but also because of its delicious drinks and overall feeling of coziness and warmth.

My girlfriend and I absolutely adore this place. It is unlike any coffee shop in the area. The atmosphere is fun and lighthearted compared to most dark and dreary cafes. The drink selection is very creative. Everything taste so fresh and relaxing. The owners Troy and Lidia definitely have put their heart and soul into this place and it shows. I have had many opportunities to watch and listen on how they make their coffee so flavorful and I wish other shops would go the extra mile like these two. I'm hoping great things for Cafe Dodie and the wonderful couple that runs it :)

My fiance and I have visited Cafe Dodie a few times now. The cafe is adorable and welcoming. The couple who owns it are so sweet and have created the most amazing environment where it feels like home. And the drinks are delicious! I love trying the pop up limited time drinks!

Cafe Dodie adds so much to the little town of Davidsville. The coffee is consistently great. And we love that they have toys that keep our little ones occupied while we enjoy the company of friends and people we just met. The atmosphere is wonderful, though the shop is small, it never feels crowded because everyone is genuinely enjoying the coffee and company. Lydia and Troy have created something wonderful here. If you haven’t been to Cafe Dodie yet, this is your sign to try it out!

I am in love with this little place! Troy and Lydia are so sweet and personable, they care to know their customers. Their hospitality makes their cafe special and welcoming.

I had the campfire latte and it was delicious! I also got a cookie dough macaron and it was so cute I needed a picture of it before I gobbled it down! Before I left I grabbed a iced earl grey lavender tea. One of the best I have had in a long time!

I plan to be back as they carry Common Place Coffee and it’s one of my favorites! If you’re in the area - be sure to check this place out. 😊
