We just went through the drive thru and the staff was super friendly and fast. The food was fresh and delicious. A++ all around. Best fast food experience I have had in a very long time. Well done!

What I ordered on the app was exactly what I got. Great job. Wish I could say that about other McDonald's.

For fast food not bad make sure to use their app to get the great deals.

Always very friendly employees. I delivered doordash orders and there has never been a negative attitude going in here. Also have to add a super exciting that they are now adding good bones to our city by giving out cogent ground for your gardens!!!

5 star rating is for the man who was working the cash register today (1/29/23 at 12:45pm) he was incredibly kind and generous towards me and my daughter even commented on his friendly customer service after he joked around with her and made her laugh. People in these positions don't realize sometimes how much of an impact they can make on someone's day, positive or negative, and it's refreshing when you get to encounter kind souls like him. Thank you sir for your simple yet impactful and kind customer service.

This is by far the best McDonald's on the metro East side.

Depending on time of day. Late at night...get here before 10..... Remember and be mindful they are understaffed. They do great getting food out.

Lunch and dinner is their busiest tines....so service is slightly slowed.

I usually use the app & do curbside. This time I sat down at a table (they're numbered). They got my order right & got it right to my table. I got a Big Mac & a Filet 'o Fish - two things that I've not always had great luck with. When McDonald's is good, it's amazing. When it's bad, it's hot garbage. This location (University Avenue, Pleasant Hill). Nailed it. It was amazing.

I always in joy going to this McDonald's opposed to other McDonald's they always have my strawberry shake I always ask for no onion because I'm allergic and every time I get my double cheeseburger never once have I ever found an onion on my double cheeseburger unlike other McDonald's thank you guys so much keep up the great work I'll see your smiling faces soon

They brought my fries to me quickly during this day of cold wind. I forgot to order ketchup with the fries, but they included a bunch! Fries were seasoned very well.

This is the best McDonalds I’ve ever been to in the Des Moines area. They are always on Point for my 5:00am Latte. The staff is fast and always friendly. Love them!

The morning crew over the past 4 months or so has been phenomenal! I stop and get a coffee every morning and haven’t found better customer service in recent times.

There are 3 primary people working the drive thru, one younger gal- who’s always super sweet & smiley, one older gal with red hair- always polite, & a bald middle aged guy who makes the best coffee! The 3 of them together are fast, efficient & courteous.

Help is hard to find right now- let alone GOOD help! These 3 folks are keeping this place a float. I genuinely enjoying seeing them in the morning. I don’t foresee them staying here forever because they are all such hard workers, but it’s been so nice to interact with kind, competent people!

Our side of town has no power so the drive through was very busy, but the staff did a great job of keeping the cars moving smoothly and despite the number of cars, we got through the whole process in about 10 minutes. The staff were pleasant and helpful and deserve raises.

Ice cream cone for our puppy. My girl friend Julie got Chocolate shake. I got the strawberries and banana that was perfect. Outstanding fast service with a smile. Great staff.

Impressed with the speed in which 4 Happy Meals, 2 McDoubles and 2 BigMacs were ready. 3 cars ahead in drive thru when order was placed. Paid at window 1, food was ready at 2 when we pulled up. The Big Mac was so neatly assembled, it looked like a picture. By far the best looking BigMac I have ever received in 40 years. Fresh, perfect amount of toppings and it didn't disintegrate when picked up to eat. Thank you for the great attention to detail and the customer.

The Pleasant Hill McDonalds is always good.

Worst ever my cone looked like someone took a bite barely any ice cream sloppy

Last Friday, I enjoyed the Mc Rib meal.
I requested no salt on my fries, and got very fresh fries that were very good. I also recommend their coffee to others.
You will not be disappointed
on how clean this restaurant
