Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Rio, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. When I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.

One of the standout aspects of my visit was the incredible staff at Cafe Rio. From the friendly host who welcomed me with a smile to the attentive servers who ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect, every member of the team went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. Their professionalism and dedication to providing top-notch service truly set Cafe Rio apart.

And of course, let's talk about the food - it was delicious! Every dish I tried was flavorful and made with the freshest ingredients. From the mouthwatering tacos to the flavorful salads, each item on the menu was expertly prepared and exceeded my expectations.

P.S. If you can't control what you put in your mouth, like uncut carne asada, you need help. It's unfortunate someone would shove their mouth so full of uncut carne asada and blame the employees for attempted murder.

Can't understand the negative reviews here. This has been my go-to favorite restaurant for years. Having been going here almost weekly for years, I can tell you that the food is excellent and I have had very few issues. The cleanliness could be improved a bit, but overall it has been a very good experience.

Haven't been here in a long time as husband usually prefers more "authentic" Mexican restaurants but this is a nice restaurant, convenient, with good food. Husband ordered a burrito with chile roast beef. I ordered enchiladas, might have only ordered one if asked but automatically was given two, with chile roast beef. The meat was tender although I thought the chile might add spice. The sauces give whatever is ordered various degrees of spiciness. We found our meals plenty to eat. The guy in front of us ordered a vegetarian salad, so that's an option, which I found interesting as this restaurant seems to be all about the delicious meats. Not crowded on a Monday night, good amount of customers, with maybe more to go and pick up orders than dine-in.

I'm out of the habit of going to Cafe Rio because the last place we lived it wasn't very good. I'm impressed with the North Ogden location and we'll definitely be back. The restaurant was clean, the employees were nice and helpful, and the food was fresh and delicious.

UPDATE - a few years later and we still really like the North Ogden location. It's become a family favorite! **I love the new lids they have that hold the salad dressing cups.**

This location does what it does very well.
They are quick, efficient, and reliable.
The food is good, the staff is efficient, and they will have you in and out in no time.
Occasionally certain things seem not to have been wiped down,
but these seem to be infrequent isolated incidents.
You can frequently see the staff cleaning and ensuring things are ready for the next customer.
If you are looking for quick, reliable, Mexican style food, this is the best place in the immediate area.

The bride and I had planned on getting our Cafe Rio go-to's but the Karen in front of us ordered a tostada and it looked so dang good we decided to try it and it's now both of our new favorites.

I also want to give a shout out to the manager or lead (blue shirt). It's 7:30pm on Aug 4th. they had such a fun personality, singing and dancing, chatting up customers in what seemed to be sincere manner. She made the small wait in line much more enjoyable. If they had a name tag I'd drop it!

I placed an order on line and when I arrived someone else had picked up my order...the staff cheerfully remade my order and threw in an extra item for my trouble...my troubles, really... great service,,

4 stars for atmosphere only because the floor was sticky where I sat. Otherwise, I love everything!

Excellent Cafe Rio location with flavor packed meats, this one specifically takes a lot of care in food preparation and presentation. The restaurant is always clean, and everyone working is always so friendly and welcoming. By far my favorite location!

We had the vegetarian salad with Fresca salsa as the dressing. Cafe Rio is our go to place and this is a great spot. Sometime short on staff and can be a bit slower, but always excellent service and amazingly fresh and delicious food.

This cafe rio makes me meow and curl my little toes.

Spencer is amazing! While everyone was singing and messing around behind the line; he was the only one who took attentiveness to the customers in line, while he took on fifteen people in line serving us first and kept a positive Attitude and smile on. Will be back just for his service. Give that guy a raise!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Was picking up a very large order for delivery, first gal at the pickup area, didnt even acknowledge or even look up at me for about 4 minutes until I finally spoke up and asked her politely if she knew the status of the order. Very snappily she said they're working on it without even checking or even looking up at me. I stepped aside patiently. However a very nice employee (forgive me if i spell this wrong) Zoelan, noticed this and offered to help pack up the order and offered me something to drink because he noticed we had been waiting almost 30min since the order was started. This gentleman was very observant, polite and had excellent customer service skills. He deserves some recognition! The girl at the pickup counter needs some training on customer service though. Not the first time she has behaved that way to me

Everyone is very friendly and seems to be happy, which reflects on their customer service.
