ATTN: Midwesterners! Quality black angus beef sourced from Colorado and Minnesota. Pricey, but that is what good meat costs. I would rather know where it's from than pay pennies on the dollar for pink colored goo at Frys. American meat is important to me.

So! happy we found Von Honson's. They have lefsa as well! Fresh dog treats cheaper than petsmart. Dozens of sausage flavors and seasonings. You can get a large bundle of meats to stock the freezer and save a few bucks.

Great Place to shop. If you are into cooking and want the finest meats in the valley, you must shop here. The guys that work here are full of knowledge and you can tell they take pride in the quality they serve here. We purchased tri tio at $14.99 per lb, rack of ribs, seasoning and some dog bones.

The guy that helped me in the beginning was named Jared. He was full of knowledge and had great advise e on seasoning. He even talked the products down to the mole ular structure. The other guy behind the meat counter talked us into a quality Tri Tip and a rack of ribs. This will be my be therapy session when I need to get out of the house for some dad time. Cheers to all my people who love quality cooking and meat smoking.

It's nice to find a butcher that offer the level of quality they do. Their hot sauce selection is too notch, they sell natural dog treats, and even ground chicken for dog food 😁. Jen and the other employees are friendly, helpful, and genuinely seem happy to help. They also have Alani energy drinks chilled and ready to drink. Keep up the great work.

Somewhere inside of this miracle on a bun is a Von Hansen Beer Brat. Atop a Noble roll, house mustard and relish, then topped with beer cheese sauce... these babies were a hit through Oktoberfest. Definitely recommend as a wholesale partner, but they also have an AMAZING retail selection inside their shop. The team is super helpful and friendly. Check this place out!

This is a great meat market with a great selection! Our Italian friend loves the chicken feet. They even have a cooler dedicated to dogs. All of the employees were very nice and very helpful. Oh, and they have a great selection of craft beer and wine too.

Got 10 lbs of Top Round for beef jerky.

I have been coming to Van Hanson's for about 8 years and I can tell you they are consistently high quality. The one draw back $$$, but you are getting high quality and great service. You can pick up more than meat. Wood Chips, Wood Pellets, Various hot and bbq sauces, beer and wine, and more. Suggestion get on the email list. and watch their special then don't miss them.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Von Hanson’s since discovering the place a couple months ago. I’m there easily once or twice a week. Every time I chat with the guys and ask them for any tips or suggestions or recommendations for new sauces, I just got into barbecuing myself, and they’ve been very helpful guiding me through the process and making it easy. I would absolutely recommend this place to any friends and family, who are looking for a good local butcher. Thank you very much Von Hanson!

Needed tomahawk steaks, couldn't find em anywhere. Called up this place, she confirmed they had em and I drove over quick to pick em up.

Cuts were quality. Almost 3 pounds each. Grilled up perfect with a white truffle aioli.

We have been back at least 4 times since. We have bought all kinds of stuff from the frozen and fresh sections. Always good quality. Everyone is always nice, attentive, etc. Prices seem reasonable to me.

We moved here a few months ago and tried other local butchers but Von Hanson’s blows every other place out of the water. For Thanksgiving we wanted to something other than a turkey and I was clueless. The people at Von Hanson’s went above and beyond helping me not only preorder a prime rib but also give me exact instructions on how to cook it as I was clueless. It was a really amazing cut of meat that everyone commented on! Thanks guys!

Grabbed some rib eyes, twice baked,& bacon wrapped asparagus. Also some dog treats and food. Kinda expensive BUT WOW THE FOOD WAS AWESOME. SO treat yourself sometimes, you deserve it. Great crew there. Clean butchershop.

Best place to buy awesome Midwest meat. We always buy our Thanksgiving turkey here and are never disappointed. The staff is beyond friendly!

Exceptionally friendly staff and a great selection. A real pleasure to shop here, especially if you’re originally from the Minnesota Twin Cities area. It’s like being back home but no snow! They even carry Surly beer!

Came in for a beef filet, to make my first ever Beef Wellington!!! The staff was so friendly and they even gave me helpful tips!

Freaking carnivores dream. So much good meat. Won't buy supermarket trash ever again. Lots of wood and beer/wine (a variety not regular supermarket stuff, skip total wine and more Vons has an awesome variety) and bbq sauce/salsas , brats and ready to cook side dishes.

I love coming here! A good butcher is hard to find, and this place is exceptional. I periodically come here to stick up for weekend cookouts with my smoker. Pork/beef Ribs? brisket? Big Poppa sausage? yum! Service truly is exceptional, and everyone is very knowledgeable.

I went there on Sunday. My normal shop in Scottsdale was closed. This will now be my main Meat Shop. The guy that helped me out was very knowledgeable and everything I got was insane!! Their homemade brats are the best I’ve ever had. They have so many sides and everything you could ask for. They even have a section for dog bones! I will be back soon!

Meaning to visit for some time, since I live close by, and was advertised on KSLX (thanks for supporting local radio)... Awesome selection of quality meats (also select beers & wine). Left with Chix wingz & bacon today, but will be returning soon for a more prolific buy(once I clean out freezer space). Steaks looked fantastic! Sausage selection (fresh & frozen) was voluminous! Gotta inquire on all the flavors next visit. Pork offerings were plentiful too. Should doggos be in your family, huge case of bones! If you're in the area, or if you're up for a drive for quality meats... Go visit!
