Delightful. The food was so amazing, and the outside is great for a warm sunny day to munch and brunch with a friend.
Only negative if not a lot of inside space for colder/ rainy days to hang out inside.
I got the steak and potato pie which I highly recommend.

Yum. Savory pastries New Zealand style. We chose steak and mushroom, chicken, ham and egg. Also had a sausage, scotch egg, Belgian chocolate chip cookie, a blueberry pastry and a macaroon. We also picked up a sourdough baguette. This was for brunch after driving 100 miles. Everything was tasty, the pastry flakey. We each had a favorite but the ones that stood out were the baguette, the sausage, blueberry pastry and the macaroon. You can't pick a bad one. Looking forwars to trying the other savories for next time.

BurtoNZ Bakery is located in Windsor near the Safeway and in that shopping center. If you haven't been, it's an amazing place to check out! I got a small box of treats for a small group that I work with and everyone loved the breakfast pastries! They have incredible pasteries that are absolutely delicious! They have a great selection so that whatever you are looking for, they have! I went first thing in the morning so there wasn't a line and the breakfast items were soooooo delicious! It's hard to choose because they have so many amazing options. I will definitely be back!

Just yum guys. Sorry you were in NZ and I couldn’t say Kiora. Top notch Sausy Roll and your peeps didn’t even bat an eyelid when I asked for Tomato Sauce. Will be visiting again when next here! Maybe next time there will be passion fruit slice or coconut slice! Like I need that anyway! Thanks for saving me the calories 😜 And so busy this morning. Obviously doing something right.

Found everything I was craving for. The chicken pie was bomb. Haven't tried all the other fun goodies I bought yet. The 4 hr trip was definitely worth it. Staff was extremely friendly. Bakery was very clean and all the items were displayed and labelled accordingly. Wish I lived closer but glad I don't because then I'd be there everyday. Enjoy and order ahead to avoid disappointment.

Very friendly staff guided me through their menu. I had never had a meat pie but I chose the steak and cheese and was met with a delicious flakey, hearty, savory and warm treat that was just perfect for a cold rainy morning. I also had the ham and cheese croissant (yum!) and a chocolate croissant which were both perfectly moist and flakey. This shop is a labor of love that you can taste it in every bite.

I just happen to be in the area and was looking for a treat. Boy did I find one. I opted for a cookie and hot tea. Taste and quality were superb. The bakery theme is New Zealand. Looking at the what is offered, there are many mouth watering choices. Pretty cool place.

As an Aussie that frequently visits the Bay Area, having these pies reminds me of home. Granted I’m not a Kiwi but I grew up on meat pies and sausage rolls and these are so damn good!

I went back in 3 times to get more and more. I had the steak & cheese, steak & mushroom, mince & cheese, creamy chicken, bacon & egg and a sausage roll. The pastry is light, flaky and buttery, the filling is hearty and tasty, especially the bacon and egg and sausage roll wow! And for a second or 2 while biting into them I forgot I was in the US.

The lamington’s were bloody awesome!

I can’t wait to come back!

I can't get enough of this Bakery! The meat pies are to die for! Then there's all the delicious desserts, breads and pastries...the hard part is deciding which delicious treats to choose because you just cannot go wrong! The staff is super friendly and fast! This is hands down the Best Bakery in Sonoma County 😸

I moved over from England 7 years ago and I’ve missed sausage rolls and meat pies! Finally a place to grab them as a snack. And they rate so good.

Marvelous authentic New Zealand Bakery with the best meat pies in the US. The pies are baked in house along with award winning breads and pastries. A “must visit “ if you are in the Sabina Valley area of California.

Excellent bakery. Bread is outstanding but get there before noon if you want to be sure of getting that favorite loaf of bread.

Love love this place. When missing New Zealand and kiwi food, we make the trip from San Francisco. Enjoy the pies and lamingtons. Stock up on Watties Sauce and amazing fresh bread.

It you are looking for authentic New Zealand/Australian meat pies, sausage rolls and sweets this is the place. Our favorites are the mince and cheese, the steak and mushroom, and finally the sausage rolls.

On the sweeter side of New Zealand (Aussies would argue the origins are with them) delicacies include the raspberry and chocolate lamington cakes complete with real whipped cream and smidge of house made raspberry jam. Let's not forget the cream bun, however in the case for BurtoNZ a cream roll, filled with real whipped cream with a delicate smidge of house made raspberry jam and lightly dusted with powdered sugar (looks sweet but more delicate than over sweet).

Please note, there is no one else in the Bay Area that makes pies close to these and lamingtons and cream rolls so plan ahead what you want to eat.

We always order what we want to eat fresh and order frozen savories to take home. BurtoNZ needs about an hours notice to prepare you ready to eat and take home items. Typically you can call ahead or message them via Facebook Messenger.

For those who travel with Tesla's there is a supercharging location across the street so no worries there. For everyone else it's worth the cost in fuel to come here.

We mainly purchase what can't be found anywhere, so the breads, rolls, and standard items we leave for locals or Americans to purchase.

Delicious pies, with proper, light, buttery dough. Excellent bread, with good sour dough tanginess, nice crust, but soft inside. Son was at Windsor Farmers market, nice guy. Just wish they’d also make proper NZ style Flat White coffees! Good on ya mates!

Amazing pies which remind me of traveling in New Zealand. The meat pies are classics, the mince and cheese being a favorite. Try the potato top with steak, can't go wrong. The breakfast sausage roll and the egg and bacon pie are great ways to start the day.

Get the lunch sandwiches early, before they are gone. All of the baked goods are fantastic and the selection of sweets is worth tossing in your to go order.

Highly recommended and get some pies to reheat at home from their frozen offerings.
