Milk Road Coffee

A charming little tea and coffee shop with delicious fresh pastries (mushroom quiche in particular). Nestled in between the mixed-use properties and the beach with plenty of free parking. The shop features a Instagram worthy plant wall with charming little bistro chairs, and unique products from local vendors and artists. I’ll try that iced Matcha with lavender, it’s my favorite. Check for seasonal hours. I do wish they had a lounge area for those of us who are wanting to hang out and drink multiple drinks adorable shop.

Cute coffee shop. I got a simple black brewed coffee with sugar. Coffee was sweet and robust. And I can attest that it's not too hot, not too cold, since I spilled it all over my hand trying to balance pizza, keys, phone and coffee, without getting burned. The baristas were polite and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting with a beachy, earth feel. The cost is a little bit higher than a gas station coffee. Overall pretty good spot to try if you like coffee.

We stopped in at Milk Road for coffee. We enjoyed their brewed coffee. It was good. We brought our own mugs and they provide a discount if you bring your own mug. They have a number of different coffee drinks and smoothies. The staff is very friendly. There is not indoor seating currently. The owner shared that it has to do with her lease and she hopes that it will change soon. There are outdoor tables as well. They also have a selection of baked goods as well if you need a snack. The decor is very interesting!

Neat little coffee shop right by the beach. My lavender iced latte was incredible. Cold brew was also delicious. Loved the shop’s aesthetic. Definitely going to try one of the bagels next time!

Went there this weekend and it was its second weekend open. Very nice baristas. Super cute and clean. Drinks were great - tried a coffee, a matcha, and a smoothie and everyone was happy with their choices. Such a great addition to Emerald Isle.

MY GO TO when I come to Emerald Isle , I always get iced caramel shakerato with a jalapeño cheddar bagel (always so fresh , fluffy and flakey ) with cream cheese . I’ve tried the watermelon lemonade and it really didn’t have any flavor so just stick with the coffee

The mocha Shakerato was perfect. Strong, not bitter, blended well. Service swift and employees welcoming and answered questions knowledgeably. Sat outside on a less than wonderful beach day. The location is perfect for a break from the sand, or a diversion off of the bike paths.

Even after not going there in months, the batista STILL knew my order. Thats phenomenal customer service. Not to mention, the staff are always pleasant to converse with, and the pastries are straight up DIVINE. Try the spanakopita, trust me. With love, earl grey with oatmilk.

Coffee that's worth driving over the bridge for. We had a vanilla latte and a pour over. Both were excellent and more like a high end coffee you would get in Raleigh. My daughter had a smoothie and wouldn't stop talking about it. Probably the best thing we had was this amazing waffle they made. Excited to finally have a great coffee shop on the beach!

I live close to this shop and was happy to see a coffee place appear so close to me. I am also pleased to say that the coffee is very good and the one smoothie I tried was different and tasty. So I plan to keep coming back for my afternoon cup. You should try it.

Fantastic new local coffee shop in Emerald Isle! Love the latte’s and family has enjoyed the smoothies. Highly recommend for morning coffee stops in town.

This place is a hidden gem. Super high quality and delicious beverages and foods! The mango lassi is delicious as is their quiche. I had their masala chai, and I love that you have the option for the chai to be unsweetened because they make it fresh each time. ✨✨

Delicious, pricey but delicious. I also don't go to Starbucks much so it might be priced in line with them.

Awesome place, so glad they came up to Emerald Isle. Definitely a recommendation if you’re visiting the crystal coast!
