Karen's Café

The owner, Nora, is the best! This café is a hidden gem in Palm Desert. Even after being away for the last three years, because of Covid, Nora remembers us. And treats us like family. Keep it up honey bunches!

Update! Food in November 2023 is just as good as it was before!

What a great place. Very friendly and helpful service. Great in dealing with food allergies. The wife loved the salad and I loved the “ACT” — Avocado, Cheddar and Turkey on Parmesan crusted sourdough. Nice outside seats to sit with the dog in the shade. Just a comfortable place to be.

We came for breakfast and it was delightful! Nora, the owner, provides excellent service and the food was delicious. I had a side of bacon and a biscuit and they were both excellent. My husband had the blueberry pancakes and he loved them.

It was not difficult to find as Google will take you right there, and we'll definitely be back!

Great spot, staff is wonderful and the food was exceptional for a diner. Check them out!

We've enjoyed breakfast and lunch at Karen's for many years. And now they serve DINNER!

The dinner menu is absolutely delicious and what really got us was the deserts. We don't normally order deserts. the tiramisu is absolutely out of this world AMAZING! I've had tiramisu all over the world and this beats them all (by far)!

The dinner ambiance is very relaxing which is perfect for my wife and me.

This cafe is extraordinary. Everything is always fresh, made well and served by wonderfully efficient staff.
Try Blueberry pancakes for a special treat. All of the sandwiches are more than ample and delicious.

We stumbled into Karen's Cafe during a recent trip to Palm Desert, and it's a new favorite! All of our breakfast items were amazing, from the biscuits and gravy to pancakes. I have been spoiled and do not want to have pancakes anywhere else 🥞💛🥞

I recently tried Karen's Café in Palm Desert, and it was amazing! The food was delicious, especially their burgers and fries. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were super friendly—I felt right at home.

When was the last time someone called you Honey Bunny? Not sure? Well then when was the last time you visited Karen's Cafe? That's the level of service you can expect, so you don't forget some bunny loves you. We had the Traditional Breakfast with the Homestyle Potatoes and grilled onions, yum!

Appreciate the breakfast it was like I was eating at home! We ordered

Sausage Burrito
Oat meal

And all of it was delicious.

We were rolling through Palm Dessert & needed some breakfast. This place was recommended by locals & popped up first on Google. Our server was so kind, our food was delicious & huge portions.

Picked this place by random on our way back to the bay. The reviews got us and did not disappoint the french toast was amazing! My gf had the pancakes and was full of blueberries and Karen is such a hard worker too loved her attitude and lil restaurant.
If I'm ever here I'll stop by again!

Excellent bfast and lunch, food was warm, fresh and seasoned well. We had a BLT, hash browns, chicken Cesar wrap and a side of toast.

I was told about this little cafe from a friend. It’s tucked behind country club in the business section. Awesome sandwiches I have to say. I’ve come back several times and they never disappoint at all. Try it out. I’ll be coming back.

We love this place. Food is fantastic, and the ladies are awesome.
