Love this place, lovely family owned store. They're always so helpful. They pretty much have everything you need especially in an emergency. Best part is we get to keep money in our community over national brands. If you live near by and want them to have something that you know you'll continue to buy they are willing to get it to have it on hand for you (of course be reasonable).

Just be careful walking in here as there is A LOT so make sure you are careful where you're walking.

When I first moved in around the corner, I told everyone I'd found my favorite store, because they somehow always had what I needed-- and 6 years later, FAVORITE STORE is a proper noun in our home. The variety and price points are unmatched, and there's a perfect balance of practical goods and novelty items. Great selection of plastic organization things and other home goods at cheaper-than-Amazon prices. And the owners are lovely and will go out of their way to help you find something to fit your need (i.e. when I was looking for plant ties (a stretch but you never know), I described them, and while they didn't stock them, they found balloon wire that they cut into several dozen individual pieces, free of charge. FAVORITE STORE!

Incredible assortment of products ranging from the kitchen to the bathroom and even the garage. A must visit if you can't find the tool that you need for that one project, if you're missing a spice for that chicken tortilla soup, or school supplies for that kid in 4th grade. The prices are unmatched for Dollar Stores in DC and the owner is super-kind.
