Aurora Market is my favorite neighborhood market! They truly care about us as neighbors and have made so much effort to integrate into the neighborhood and be responsive to the food requests we all share with them. I go here all the time for fresh produce and love talking with them each time I visit. 5 stars!!

An incredible market with everything you need right around the corner to serve the local community and visitors to Washington DC.
We love the owners' vision, passion for diversity, and the wide variety of products for all to enjoy. The sandwiches, pastries, coffee, various small batch products, fruits, vegetables, spices, wine, unique chocolate, and so much more in a compact store. It really has everything you need from fresh to frozen unique products.
We appreciate the warm welcome from the owners and visited several times a day the week we stayed near by.

Came here over a month ago and still thinking about how amazing my experience was!
This little upscale mom and pop corner convenience store is such a gem of a place, located in the Park View neighborhood of DC (about a 20 minute walk from the Colombia Heights metro).
They have an awesome variety of baked goods and croissants that they get from a couple of local French bakeries that were SO good. They offer a selection of subs and sandwiches, only using Boar's Head meat & cheeses (which is some of the highest quality products you can use!).
I love how internationally focused their basic market products are. From Taiwanese soup dumplings to Thai Coconut Milk to Ethiopian Injeera crisps - this market really cares about sourcing a variety of eclectic goods from all around the world!
And last but not least, the owner of the store, Pablo, is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet! He is incredibly passionate about the vision he has for his little mom and pop corner store and it was great getting to chat with him about the name of the place and the simple (yet artistic!) logo that he actually designed for the place.
Excellent experience all around and if you live in the Colombia Heights area of DC - definitely recommend you visit this place for all of your market/convenience store needs :)

Absolutely adore this place. The owners could not be more delightful and friendly. Don't let its size deceive you: it is, without fail, stocked with what I need that day. The morning pastries also can't be beat. I love how they feature local artists/entrepreneurs, etc. What a great addition to the neighborhood.

Pablo and Rahel are lovely people with an amazing vision for how the Market will serve the community. They've got a great variety of goods, brands I haven't seen anywhere else in DC. Shout out to the iced matcha oat milk latte that Rahel whipped up for and to the iced lemon cake that Pablo recommended. I can't wait to come to one of their live community events!

A great little market with all the essentials. It's also a cafe with breakfast and lunch sandwiches, coffee, and desserts. I love the tres leches! The owners are super friendly, and they said they have plans to host stand up comedy shows and live music downstairs in the near future.

A good friend recommended this shop, so while in the area I decided to check it out. Man was I impressed for a small shop they offer a lot in selection and hospitality, and have grand plans to make it even better.
I asked for a tour and Pablo quickly jumped up to take me around and explain the selection of items they offered. It was nice to see how they invested in the community by letting them choose what was put on the shelves. They don't offer a lot of name brand items, but they do have items that are culturally diverse and exemplify the neighborhood.
After a couple of minutes he asked what I might be looking for and the first mention of coffee got Rahel perked up and coming over to explain how Harrar coffee was from her home town in Ethiopia and roasted right in DC. I am a Starbucks person, but now I am a Harrar LOVER. This coffee is so fresh, so aromatic, and so flavorful. I got the dark and absolutely love it. The next time I am there I will be loading up on it.
This market has great potential and in their care I know it will thrive. Thanks for the tour and good luck!

I stopped in here a few weeks ago and haven’t stopped telling everyone I know about this market that stocks a mix of locally produced goods and everyday essentials. What a fabulous corner shop and ran by the kindest family. Thank you for bringing something so wonderful and so needed into the world. I wish you every success!

Awesome family owned business featuring my favorite gluten free and dairy free options! Definitely what Park View needed - a step above your corner market. Cannot wait to frequent their coffee shop when it opens downstairs!

Cute little corner market with a delightful mix of products (produce, groceries, and snacks). Great for grabbing a missing ingredient, cheese board items, or a pastry for a morning treat. Friendly owners very interested in requests for additional items to stock. I'm excited to see how they continue to evolve the space.

A well-stocked corner store with a full coffee bar and food - including pastries from Fresh Baguette which are amazing. I would love to have one in my neighborhood!

The pesto sandwich was legit. Cool spot. hours not really compatible for studying, but would make a fairly decent study spot too.
