Santa Fe Mexican Restaurant

Food was delicious. Chips were fresh & hot, great salsa. We ordered small cheese dip & chunky quacmolia dip, both were too much for a couple to eat. Our meals were large portions aswell. Neirher of us could eat it all and we brought lunch for the next day home. We had great service and were seated near a TV so we could watch the football game.

Loved this place! My first time to patron this small town restaurant so I was a little reluctant if it would be good. We recieved fast and friendly service, the chunky guacamole dip was fresh and prepared perfectly, and our food was delicious. We will definitely go back again very soon.

Mexican-style restaurant located in the town of Tallapoosa.

I stop by every few months when I’m working in this town. Usually, it’s before 5 pm, so the restaurant is generally empty.

The service is nothing to get excited about. But they do follow instructions well. Our server, Ruby, was a great help!

I eat primarily plant-based, so Mexican food is one of my favorites. My mother and I ordered a plate and a salad. It came out in a few short minutes.

However, I will say I am disappointed to hear that they don’t offer authentic Margaritas. They have beer and wine-based margaritas. If you don’t want a headache, then stick to the beers. I order 2 or 3 beers after work instead of a classic marg.

I recommend this place to the folks that love decent food for a fair price. Compared to fast food, this place is much better!

Delicious! I came here for lunch for my first time ever, and it did not disappoint! I ordered a grilled chicken fajita taco salad, and it was fantastic! The young ladies in there were very sweet, friendly and helpful. The service was fast, and the food was very fresh! The grilled chicken, onion & bell pepper was cooked PERFECT, the lettuce/tomato & guacamole was FRESH, and the fried tortilla shell was crispy and perfect! Chef's kiss y'all 🤌💋

The food is always great but the service is usually pretty slow. I think they only have maybe 2 waitresses working at a time so it takes a while to get refills or stuff. Great food though.

We have driven past this place countless times. Even stopped once, only to learn that they are not open on Sundays. That's a shame. But I get it. Good for them.

Finally ate there tonight. We now officially have a new favorite Mexican restaurant! As with most of these places, you get the typical salsa and chips, but theirs just tasted better than the others for some reason. The prices are in line with others also, but I think that's where the comparison ends. You get A LOT of food for the money, and everything that we ate was incredible.

I'd certainly say that we will probably be 'regulars' fairly soon. I'll also say that this may be one of best-kept secrets around!

I always enjoy my food at Santa Fe! The place is cute and clean, service is good, food is great. My only complaint is that the soft drinks ALWAYS taste flat. The carbonation must be too low because I have never had a decent soft drink there. And to me, a soft drink really makes a Mexican meal so much better.

This establishment never disappoints and is a family favorite of ours. Everything is always so fresh, the atmosphere is great and the staff is always friendly. I highly suggest you try out this restaurant. The fajitas are amazing!

Amazing food..my favorite is the Texas Quesadilla that brings chicken,steak and shrimp in it..And the owner Jose supper friendly constantly checking on the customers making sure all is good.

Great food and very friendly service. These people are great. Love the small home town feeling. We eat here once a week. Best Mexican food ever. If you haven't tried it then you are missing out.

This is the best Mexican restaurant that I've visited. The food is always delicious with consistent quality. I've never had a single issue with any dish that I have ever ordered--and I make it a point to visit often.
Their chips and salsa are perfect. I strongly recommend their fajitas whether you prefer chicken or beef. The portions are generous.
Not only is the food fantastic, the people are equally great. They are always friendly, cheerful, and constantly insuring that your meal meets your complete satisfaction. The restaurant is always neat, clean, well presented, and comfortable. Their prices are very reasonable.and they are conveniently located across the railroad tracks from US 78 at the main intersection. I highly recommend.

Very clean facility. Very attentive and personal wait staff. Service was prompt and courteous even though we visited during the lunch hour.
My entree was both delicious with a clean presentation on the plate.
The only negative point was that the basket of tortilla chips could have been a little warmer with fewer broken chips.
Still, I give a 5 and plan on a next visit in the future.

Love the place and the tacos were amazing. Definitely recommend coming back here again soon!
