Drivers on I-20, do yourself a favor and drive the five minutes up hwy 100 for some serious southern cuisine. I had my family’s annual Christmas party catered by Becky and it was awesome! All the dishes were great and everyone loved it. The prices were great too and the portions were ample. We took home a ton of food and I was even able to donate a lot of it to a church that provides community meals. Thanks for the great food and service!

That had to be the best Philly I've had in a long time. The meat is shaved from the ends of the prime rib they do on the weekends. Served with hand cut fries. I can't wait to come back to try the dinner menu.

I’m a hygienist at a local dentist office in Tallapoosa. Our staff sometimes all gets to go out for lunch together and we love going to Mama N Ems!! The food is always great. My personal favorites are the BBQ spud and BBQ fries. Some of my coworkers also love the shrimp and chicken tacos. And since we’re on a time schedule, the restaurant staff is always great to have our food ready and waiting for us when we get there if we call ahead with our order.

Service was excellent. Tea (unsweet) I know sacrilege was very good. Food was great and portions were large. Had the Philly and onion rings.

Wow! New favorite restaurant! The people are so nice and the food is AMAZING! Good portions and so tasty! The fried pickles were the best I’ve ever had and my meal was a 10/10! Will be back!!

My husband and I went to lunch here a month or so ago. We had never been, but drove over 20 miles to get there one weekday, because of the reviews on Facebook. We got there at 11:00am when they were just opening. (I have to eat all my meals by 12:00pm.) At that time, we were about the only customers. I liked that and felt welcomed by the staff. I was disappointed though to learn that they didn’t serve the delicious looking steak I came for until 4pm. My husband I both ordered the smash burgers and I have to say I haven’t had a burger made like that since my mom made them 50 years ago! Not only was our meal good, but it was served timely and I was able to be finished by 12! I only wish they would have an online menu that has a separate ‘lunch’ menu, like other restaurants have. But then again, I would probably not have eaten one of their delicious burgers (like mama made :). We plan on going back on my birthday this month! I’ll look forward to another smash burger!!

Hidden gem! The Sawmp Yard Bird is my favorite! It comes out in an iron skillet with cheesy goodness on top and the chicken is nicely seasoned. Peach muffins are amazing, fried foods are battered with REAL batter, and they have REAL ranch too! Amazing food and amazing people!

Mama-n-Em's is one of our favorites. We no longer live locally, but love to visit when we come back to town. The food is always delicious & fresh!

Arriving around 5:30 PM on a Friday, my wife and I were greeted and seated immediately upon entering, and our server, Tiffany, took our drink orders almost immediately after we were seated, and then took our food order when she returned with our drinks a short time later. I ordered the fried catfish fillet with salad bar and fries; my wife ordered the chicken bacon ranch tacos. The salad bar was on the small side but well stocked and Tiffany delivered our food just after I finished our salad. My wife and I both agreed that the food was delicious and the portions more than ample. Tiffany was friendly, cheerful, and never kept us waiting long for anything. Highly recommend!

The food was great as the last we went. Portions are good size. I have had leftovers for the next day both times we have gone. If you haven't been you should definitely try it.

This place is so good.
I'd say it's like modern comfort food.
Most of the food was fresh , not frozen.
They have a little salad bar in the back. Music playing, nice lighting.
Very relaxing.
Lady who waits on you is so nice and friendly.
I'm not sure which was better, the food, or the atmosphere. I'd give it a thousand stars if I could.

First time eating here and SO glad we did!! The food was so fresh and excellent, the service was excellent and the decor was so cute!! We will definitely be back!! If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! Such a great place to eat!!

Service was very good, extremely friendly and helpful. They took time to explain everything, and made sure I got everything I wanted.

The atmosphere is very casual, and comfortable.

Food was amazing, and very cheap. Had no issues at all. I highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Food was top notch. Service was slow and it took a while to get our food but the quality made up for it. I had the shrimp and grits with fried okra and my wife had the smothered yardbird. Delicious.

First time here and we were impressed. Arrived around 3PM on Friday, which was too early for dinner or prime rib. We were the only patrons there, which can be a little uncomfortable but the atmosphere was homey so we were comfortable and having the place to ourselves was actually nice. Shawn greeted us right away and explained a little about the menu. Even though it was too early for dinner, he offered to fix the cheesesteak egg roll appetizer, which was fantastic and a lot for 2 people. We choose the pimento cheese smash burger and the BBQ gilled cheese. We both opted for the hand cut fries as our side. Food was amazing! We will definitely go back for prime rib.

The Big Papas Smash is The Bomb of a Burger, more than enough for anyone on earth. It is a excellent Burger and the fries were good as well. Plenty of fried Pickles and Good also. I believe we found our new place. People were nice and the food was quick. Family is all about it. LOL. We also like the atmosphere, laid back, Country Vibe. Very Well worth the Money. Will DEFINITELY be back. Can't wait to try other items on the Menu.

We started out on a Sunday looking for a place to eat lunch. Our target restaurant was closed so we had to find something else. Honestly, we weren't sure what to expect going into this place. Once we got there, that all changed. The atmosphere was nice (praise music may have been a little loud, but not extreme). The staff was nice and our server continually engaged our daughter about suggestions for series books to read in between checking her tables. I wasn't sure about my order but I figured I'd give it a shot. I will say, the swamp bird (I believe was the name) was absolutely excellent. The okra side was excellent as well. My wife had the shepherds pie and while I'm not a fan of it, it was very good. The kids split french toast and loved it. Overall, this place was great and we look forward to our next visit!
