Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse

This was my first time there. Great idea on New Year's Eve! The restaurant was clean & spacious, decor was nice. I ordered the Chicken teriyaki with the best sauce I ever tasted, white rice, broccoli, carrots & onions, which were sweet & caramelized. Great experience!

Food , drinks, atmosphere, prices, staff, everything was amazing. Easy to park, we didn’t have reservations and got seated right away on a Saturday.
They were very friendly and accommodating and provided us with excellent service.
So many food options it was hard to choose.
My daughter had sushi and we all had hibachi with seafood.
Tasted great, he added flavors as we liked and substituted ingredients since we couldn’t have anything with alcohol in it.

Didn’t try the true hibachi with a live chef but had a great hibachi lunch at a table. The food came out incredibly fast which was great. The steak and chicken were perfectly cooked and the rice was delicious, my 4 year old devoured the chicken. The salad was fantastic, crisp and fresh with that amazing mystery dressing. I will definitely come back to watch a live cooking and enjoy the antics and expertise of the hibachi chefs. I was also impressed with the prices, probably one of the less expensive hibachis in the area. There is also a nice selection of sushi which I will have to come back to try.

Good food, plenty of it, and a surprisingly reasonable price. I wish we had more time to do the hibachi show, but the regular table service was great. The chicken hibachi was good (it still comes with a few pieces of shrimp regardless) and the sushi was spot on. I would recommend the spicy mayo as it goes great on everything.

My fiancée and I had a great lunch at Tokyo Steakhouse. We both ordered the Hibachi Lunch Special with Steak and Shrimp and substituted the rice for noodles. The lunch special comes with soup or salad and we decided to get the onion soup. We also ordered a Spicy Crabstick roll and Shrimp Tempura roll. Everything tasted absolutely delicious and was nice and fresh! The service was also top notch and the food came out quickly. Overall, this is a great spot to have a tasty Japanese lunch or dinner.

The food was great and cooked to our specifications. Our server was sweet and refilled our drinks often. Rex was our hibachi chef, and he had a fantastic personality. Our group was filled with a great experience, good food, and a fun food show.

We love Tokyo! The food and service are wonderful. However, I would suggest making the hibachi table for customers 12 and over perhaps, as it does take away from the experience when there are very young children running around it screaming.

I dont know what the negative reviews are talking about. My husband said this was the most enjoyable restaurant experience he's ever had. The atmosphere is very elegant, the service is on point, and the food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Will be coming back!

Fantastic food and amazing service. The sashimi was fantastic and the onion soup was the best Iv ever had. Huge variety of sushi and sashimi. They also offer hibachi tables and door dash!

Wow! Just, wow. Our waitress was kind and helpful. She took her time to help me navigate the menu. She sang happy birthday with me for my son. The food was fresh and so delicious! I can't say enough. I am looking forward to going back for the hibachi, the table that was experiencing the service sounded like they were having a blast! Thank you for a great experience.

Very chill vibe and atmosphere right when you walk in. I genuinely felt like I was somewhere in Japan lol. Definitely a unique place. I kept it light with an order of vegetable rolls for just under $5, as well as a hot green tea $1.99, and vanilla ice cream mochi! The rolls were a bit bland... tea was good wish they offered honey. Mochi was top knonch. Waitress was kind though she did not check on us often. It was a Monday night around 7 and they were pretty busy. Overall I do recommend!

The parking lot was huge and walking into the place... it's a beautiful modern vibe. The food... so tasty and quality was some of the best sashimi I've had in the Poconos... the service and staff were very nice, quick and accommodating. A must go.

I've been here a few times; twice for dinner and once for Hibachi. The food is incredible and fast, friendly service. Consistently amazing!

Menu prices more than fair, for the quality, quantity, and value, this was my 2nd visit within the past 2 months and can't brag enough about this place!!!

Don't let the outside of this place fool you! It's an amazing hibachi restaurant with very high Class ambiance inside, coupled with fast and accurate service and hot and flavorful food. The drinks were amazing (pictured below) and were well made, not overpoured or watered down. The miso soup was immaculate and the salad was a nice refreshing bite before a DELICIOUS meal. Such full portions and it left me full as could be. I didn't have room for desert, so next time I come by, I'll make sure to review it too. I've eaten at a good amount of hibachi restaurants in the past and I can say confidently that Tokyo is my new favorite place. I'll be bringing family and friends here for a long time!!!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I got sushi from Toyko and all I can say now is that I wish I had done it sooner! Everything was delicious and well-made. The prices were incredibly fair and it was ready quick! My only gripe is that the ginger dressing for the salads seemed a little bland. I can't speak for the hibachi meals, but if it's as good as the sushi, it's better than most in the area!

I'm from 5.5 hours away visiting my girlfriend and she took me here (For my first sushi experience) It was amazing! I recommend the Volcano Roll and Spicy Crab Salad 🥰

Great service and food! Rex was our chef and he was so great! He has a great singing voice too!
