Josh Park Memorial Trail

I really enjoyed my hike through this park. I loved being on a trail through a forest. The trail is floored with very small gravel so it is easy to walk on or bike. The trail has one longer outer loop and several cut through if you want it shorter. It was so peaceful and pleasant! I noticed some picnic tables near the
beginning of the trail and folks enjoying their meal. There are some bathroom/ nice bricked outhouses and water fountain by the parking lot. There is also an exercise area for various modes of working out.

Nice trail I was there earlier on winter weekend days with weather in the teens not very busy at that time.
On Saturday I met up with a deer she looked at me for a moment and then left.
There is places on the steeper parts of the trail with minor washouts but nothing that couldn't be avoided.
If you take the outermost loop it is a good incline for a couple hundred yards.
Nothing to strenuous though.
I will definitely go back if I'm in vacinity

This is a great trail to walk. My little dog always enjoys the trail with me. If the sun is out people are walking.

Great morning warm-up or just a chill stroll through the Arkansas pines. The route around the outside is about 1.25 miles on a wide, packed trail of pine needles. Cut-throughs shorten or lengthen the trail to suit.
