Arkansas Welcome Center at Lake Village

This is a lovely place to stop and stretch and see the Arkansas river. Very clean and legit. The large wooden dock appears off limits.

Beautiful place to stop and stretch your legs and paws. It was clean and felt safe to be here. There are vending machines available that are behind locked gates but still allow access for purchases. We were here during the day so I can't speak to how well lit it is at night. They have separate areas for semis, campers, RVs etc.

Small parking lot but big enough for our Suburban and 17 travel trailer. Water was high so walkways and dock we're closed but nice little.area on the water. Didn't go inside but plenty of trash cans and grass to walk the dogs to potty.

Great visitor center. Informational pamphlets for ALL parts of the state making good use for the upcoming trip. Worker at reception desk was polite and reccomended different things to do for our location of stay. Visitor center is not near border, about 30 minutes from Louisiana but makes sense due to all the farmland at the border.

Very clean inside and out, the views are just beautiful. Staff was kind and helpful. Definitely a good place to stop and stretch.

Very clean and well maintained. It’s the first time I’ve stopped at a rest center and been the only one in the parking lot. When I woke from my rest it was getting light. I didn’t even know I was on a water front when I pulled in. The walk ways and benches/tables on the river side are amazing. They are high giving a great view. Clean rest rooms. No other services were available yet as still to early. It was a relaxing and refreshing stop. I even found a “Rock for Alec” left on a table.

Love this village! Beautiful park and attractions! Tall tall trees! We arrived in time for the sunrise that sunday morni g. It was like out of a movie. As the sun was rising the town clock started to chime. Beautiful experience

This was the best welcome center I have ever been to! Beautiful spot, friendly staff who provided a ton of information! Gave lots of advice and brochures for all their favorite places to visit.

Beautiful lake and Mr Martin at the welcome center was very friendly, informative and pleasant to converse with. He made me look at the state of Arkansas in a different perspective.

Nice and clean beautiful decking beautiful scenery very clean very knowledgeable and helpful information along with the people working there can ask them anything they will have the answer for you or find the answer for you enjoyed 45 minutes there I'm just enjoying the breeze on the deck on a picnic table great place to stop and have lunch great place just to stop and relax for a few.

This is the cleanest and friendliest welcome center I’ve been to In a while. The lady running the welcome desk is super kind and friendly. Took some time to stretch the legs and walk around the deck out back over looking the oxbow lake.

This is probably one of the nicest welcome centers I have seen. Bring some burgers, dogs, and charcoal and enjoy a lunch at one of the picnic tables.

Thus probably one of the nicest visitor centers I've been to and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We drive from Vicksburg to Yellville Ar often and always make it a stop. Clean with friendly folks. Dog walk area and a pretty view of the lake

➡Should splurge on new toilet seats.
➡And the stall is too small to turn around. The toilets were moved away from the back wall (probably to compensate for a design flaw), leaving little space between the commode and the door.

Really nice rest area.. very welcoming even in the dark everything was really lite up
