Our first experience at Flapjack's and I must say I was quite pleased with the outcome. This happened to take place on a Sunday morning just before 8AM. My wife, youngest son, and I were greeted with a warm smile and a cheerful welcome. The host courteously seated us and our server promptly acknowledged our presence and took our drink orders. The breakfast menu large so we had some tough decisions to make as to what we were eating. Our server never rushed us but made sure to keep an eye out for when we were ready. Once we place the order the food was prepared to request. This does require a few more minutes but I appreciate the care that is put into the food. The outcome was stupendous, everything was fresh and tasted amazing. We ended up needed a to go box for leftovers. My recommendations are to give Flapjack's a try. It may become a regular. I'm sure it just became one of ours.

Don’t want to blow this place up but the food and prices are great. Service is a tad slow but if you’re not in a hurry it’s a non issue. We got B&G, Steak and eggs and the breakfast burrito.

I went in this afternoon for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t sure what their non-breakfast choices would be, but there are lots of sandwiches, burgers, etc. to choose from.

I ordered the Rueben and it was outstanding! Unlike so many I’ve had, the corned beef was juicy. There was just the right amount of sauce, cheese and kraut. And…the bread was perfectly grilled.

I’ve had every Reuben in west Shawnee and beyond and this was the best I can remember!

Love that this is a local family owned business! The food is delicious and the portions are very generous. I always get an omelette with fresh fruit and flapjacks. It’s our go to place for breakfast every weekend.

I came here a couple weeks ago, I got the flapjacks special number one. The food was amazing, and not to mention price (so low u had to double check with my server). The service was efficient and quick and the server was very warm and welcoming. The small close to home feel of the restaurant really brought everything together to create one of the best experiences I’ve had. You have a customer for life!

I have recently enjoyed breakfast at Flapjacks twice recently. The menu is extensive and offers a variety of breakfast and lunch items. The food is fresh and good and the service is great. Eager to return for lunch!

Weekday breakfast spot for me. My first time here and the food was very good and the service was very good as well. I think people who rate this on the low scale should remember that ALL new restaurants have learning curves for the kitchen and the staff, especially when overwhelmed by an influx of customers on a weekend where there are very few breakfast spots around. Give them a chance and come back at least after they’ve worked out their kinks. I will definitely come back and can’t wait to try the lunch menu.

Great selection of breakfast and lunch items. Food is always hot and served pretty quickly and its almost always a full house. Its clean. The staff is very friendly. I recommend the chicken fried steak and eggs

THANK YOU FOR OPENING A GREAT PLACE TO EAT! I was there this past weekend, September 29,23. It was my first time, but it won't be my last! The French Toast was absolutely awesome! I've never had such great service from a restaurant like I had this past weekend. Flapjacks is the new place to go if you want amazing service, surpurb food and great atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised by Flapjacks! Thank you to the owner for such an excellent restaurant! I also want to thank our waitress, Robin. I enjoyed my experience, and Robin was a huge part of that experience. She was very friendly and went out of her way to see that I had everything I needed to enjoy my breakfast. I can't say enough about Flapjacks, except it is well worth your time! Amazing French Toast for sure!!

Second visit!! Ok so I gave a sorry review and now I'm taking it all back. This place is remarkable and just like the mom and pop food of yesterday. I took friends and family after I had complained about the crepes. I am sorry for that review because my second visit was astounding. Try the hollandaise sauce!!! Eggs benedict, Popeye eggs with spinach and mushrooms, try anything. Large servings, delicious and filling. Please don't drive by this little place. It is delicious and you can taste the love. Go back again and again. Giant English muffins and my friend had the corn beef hash NOT OUT OF A CAN!! I'm a believer and I'm going back for that hollandaise sauce that tastes like a European French classic. Go and try!!! Don't believe any negative reviews ..come and see for yourselves. This is grandmas breakfast!

Biscuits n gravy, omelet, chicken fried steak, pancakes and over easy eggs all cooked perfect and were amazing!

They are finally open! The food is just as good as the OP location and the service is great. I’m so glad we have a decent breakfast place nearby to grab the occasional morning coffee and waffle or a Sunday brunch.

Great breakfast place that just opened in West Shawnee! Their pancakes were the best I’ve ever eaten and the off-the-bone ham was tremendous!

My mom and I went here for lunch and it was delicious! If you haven't been there I highly recommended you won't be disappointed!!

So yummy! Busy place, waited about 5 minutes for a seat. Quick service and food was great!
