Batesville Children's Clinic - White River Health

I have special needs and medically complex children. We’ve been seen at this clinic for 3+ years(since moving to AR) The Drs care about my children and we are not just a file. The also put great care into our check ups and medical care plans. Nurse Annette is by far the most organized and thoughtful nurse I’ve ever worked with, anywhere. She works hard behind the scenes to make sure my children’s needs are always met. Since my kids are medically complex our dealing with this office is plentiful and I can always count on especially her but the Drs too.

My son’s doctor is Dr. Megan Smith. She knows exactly how to care for a child. She is caring, knows just what to say to calm down my baby when he’s sick, she talks thorough and specific, she seems like such a great person all around. I’m happy to have her as my son’s doctor. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

LOVE THIS CLINIC

The wait times once in the exam rooms is ridiculous. Nearly an hour and a half each time. Office is kept too cold (68) to be having a newborn baby sit with only a diaper on for over an hour.

Nurse with the pink or purple dye in her hair is the rudest nurse I have ever dealt with. This nurse may be Dr. Moodys nurse, I'm not sure but she doesn't need to work with children or health care with the way she acts. Awful experience!

Worst pediatrician iv ever used! We used Meghan Smith and she was horrible. She was nice to us that wasn't the problem. Could never get ahold of anyone or get them to call back so we would always have to go in the office to get things handled. The whole experience was horrible. Can't say anything for the other Dr's but Meghan staff definitely was not on top of it. We just felt like a number like she was just trying to get In and out and didn't care what we had to say. I would definitely use someone else.

They are in no hurry to send persciptions that are nessacary for your child including wic scripts and inhalers for infant asthma. I have no vehicle and they have seen my son since birth. So I call and try to get things done to no avail. It's been almost 3 weeks of me trying to get them to send my sons inhaler into our local pharmacy. 2 weeks of me trying to get his wicked script. Now I understand getting busy but it should not take this long or many times of me calling to get a refill on my infants inhaler.

Me and my child has sat in the parking lot a almost 2 year old having to be contained to a car for 2 hours waiting on a doctor to come see us outside she is not sick at all and we have to do a visit by a car cause she has a small cough were she coughs 2 times in a 24 hour period this is ridiculous would never refer this clinic to no one. Also the people they have working front desk will hang up on you.

They have some excellent doctors. However I never go and wait less than an hour. It's usually an 1hr to 2hr waiting. Sometimes you'll wait an hour in two rooms. However this last time we waited more than ever. And the staff was not helpful as usual.
