Went here for the Thanksgiving buffet for $40 (includes drink and gratuity) and it was PHENOMENAL!!! They had everything you could want and more, from a massive salad bar and two tiered dessert table, to three meats, three gravies, and all the sides and fixings your heart could crave. We got there and immediately found a parking spot, went inside and there was no wait or line, got immediately seated and was able to head straight to the buffet with hardly any one around the food. The dining area had a great crowd but not chaotic and we got a lovely window seat overlooking the crystal waters and mountains with the trees changing colors. It was a beautiful Thanksgiving meal. Very low key, very delicious and zero stress involved. Afterwards it was nice to stroll the grounds outside and take in nature away from the hustle and bustle of town. I LOVE this holiday and I love cooking but this was definitely the way to go for anyone looking for a nice break at a place that takes you in like family, keeps the sweet tea full, and gorgeous views and no chaos. Only downside is no leftovers for later!!! Will definitely be back, this was truly a beautiful memory I want to experience the years to come.

This was my third visit and each time was a special occasion. Great place for a retreat and to enjoy nature. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing! Everyone was very nice and the food in the restaurant is great!

camping couldn't get Internet or WiFi. That's the only thing to complain about everything else is so darn great. Staff was really great golf course was fun, what kind of grass do they have on the fairway? Went on a eagle boat watch, yes saw eagles and guide was very knowledgeable. Camping was fun and trails were well marked Saw lots of deer, drive slowly please.

Great lodge, excellent and helpful staff, and awesome view. Rooms are a bit dated, and coffee makers shouldn't be in the bathrooms. That's a pet-peeve of mine for all hotels. Otherwise great experience.

We camped out and had a great experience. The lake is beautiful and the activities are as exciting as they are varied. A crown jewel of US state parks.

Edgewood spot 29 was wonderful. Close to bathroom and showers. Water, electricity, tent area, plenty of room to play, by the beach to fish or swim.

Beautiful scenery and very friendly employees. Shoreline restaurant has great views and food at a reasonable price. The kids meals are $6-$7 and are huge, in particular the burger. I had a pizza and it was fantastic. We will be back!

Our entire experience from check in to check out was fantastic. The front desk was friendly. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The lake side views from our room were beautiful. Our eagle watching boat tour was relaxing and gorgeous. We play basketball and tennis. We got to see wildlife while biking. The food and service at the restaurant was top notch. We will be back and highly recommend visiting.

When it comes to customer service this place went out of their way to make us comfortable. We showed up later than expected and no reservation. They got my son and I into a lake view room.

The restaurant showed my son and I amazing hospitality. When my son and I wanted to have our dessert in front of the fireplace they had the fireplace lit and made us comfortable in front of it with games to play.

The marina was generous and so friendly. We had a blast renting water toys and hiking in the beautiful forest right behind the resort. We saw about 4 dear during our hike.

An unforgettable experience for us! My only regret is not staying longer.

ThIs resort is BEAUTIFUL! It is nestled on top of a mountain, away from everything. All you need is right on the resort to have a great time. Even with it being so far from civilization, you can still get great phone reception. But if not, they have a business center along with a gym, hot tub, and pool. The rooms are clean, and the staff is very nice and helpful. I left home w/o my BP monitor, and they have one on-site and were happy to let me borrow it several times. Our room overlooked the AMAZING lake. They even have an island you can boat, swim, or kayak out to and relax, swim, picnic, or have yourself a party on. There is plenty of space on the grounds to play games. There are trails all over the place and a golf course. You can rent paddle boats, canoes or kayaks, and dock your boat at the Marina. They have a full restaurant, but I warn you, it is a bit on the pricey side. The pool was too warm to enjoy, but that is Mother Nature's fault. It had been very hot. However, that did not stop families from enjoying it; even me. This place is very busy, so you need to make reservations WAY in advance. The lake is HUGE, but the water is very calm, which makes it great for enjoying a jet ski ride. For you dare devils, sorry; there are not enough boats to make waves for you. You'll have to think outside the box. This place is a must visit!!

We camped in loop A so can't speak to the room quality. The staff is top notch, friendly & professional. We did eat at the restaurant in the resort a couple of times and "borrowed" some Wifi 😄. The lodge has a great lake view, good restaurant & gift shop where you can get hiking sticks, T-shirts, hats, books, bug spray, etc. There's also a great room with giant leather couches, business desk, televisions & fireplace.

It was our first stay at the lodge. If you're looking for a winter weekend escape to a peaceful and serene setting, the lodge will not disappoint. We stayed in a suite. It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The window views of the lake is amazing. The staff was very attentive. We took a 1-hour boat tour from the marina near the lodge, to see the eagles. We had a great guide and seeing the eagles was pretty cool. There are local nature trails to enjoy, and a sunset stroll on the lodge property is a nice way to end the day. The lodge restaurant provides good food at a reasonable price.

This was our first stay at the park. Stayed at the lodge while other family members camped. The lodge is nothing fancy but very comfortable and enjoyable. The camp sites were great too along with very clean camp bathrooms and showers. Our room in the lodge was on the second floor and had an amazing view of the lake. Definitely worth the extra money for a lake view. Ate breakfast in the Shoreline Cafe. They were only serving a buffet which was just ok. Gift shop had a surprisingly great choice of items. Such a beautiful lake. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend for all ages.

Saw a Bald Eagle on this trip to the lake. This is the first one we have seen. We know there are several down there. We just haven't seen them till now. As always, the lake is the best one around.

The friendliest staff! The check-in with Carly was perfect. She told me where to go for the best sunset view. The dining was excellent, the servers were so nice. Very knowledgeable people (all girls, that’s why). The lodge is beautiful and I have to come back when I can fish. Thank you people! Y’all make a great team! ♥🇺🇸
