After a horrendous encounter and experience at Cox funeral home, me and my siblings went straight to House-Gregg funeral home and they were amazing the entire process. They were very kind and compassionate and went out of their way to make sure our mother’s service was exactly like we envisioned for her. Magen was always accessible and updated us throughout the entire process. She also took time to personalize items in memory of our mother. Very thoughtful and caring! Our mother looked great and she had a beautiful service that she would have loved. I highly recommend them!!

I would not recommend this place to anyone they said they lost the paperwork that proved my mother paid cash for her funeral and tried to take her life insurance . but mom had kept her receipts otherwise they would have gotten away with it . they had everything right to say while we were there but didn't do it when the time came it was a terrible experience I can't see how they are still in business and when we would try to call them they would not answer or just gave excuses when they did answer they still haven't put the dates on my mom's grave but wanted the cash immediately when they offered the service it was terrible its hard enough to lose a loved one but to go through what they put us through was unforgettable I hope this keeps someone else from going thru this the only reason there is a star is because you can't post a review without one but they don't deserve any stars for sure terrible place

They have placed the marker and cremated remains of someone in my uncles grave. I talked to our funeral home and they moved the marker where it should be and said they would get with House gregg about the remains. Went out today and the marker is back on my uncles grave right in front of his headstone. Tried calling and it rang forever with no answer. My uncles date of death is not in the stone but he is there. The man doesn’t need a roommate. I just want the remains put where they belong.

Would not recommend especially during time of sorrow, We order 800 dollars (paid in full at time of service) of keepsake jewelry, they meaning (Jim Edd, Sammy and the receptionist) lost the paper work. Had to make numerous calls with no return call. Took 2 and a half months to finally receive the jewelry after them stating it would be 6 weeks Widow spouse order the tombstone in April 2016 (paid in full 1780 dollars in April 2016), started calling at the end of February 2017 to find out the status, numerous non return calls. Finally they told us that they (Jim Edd, Sammy and Marsha the receptionist) lost the paper work. So Sammy ask the daughter-in-law to go to widow spouse home and draw a picture of the tombstone as the blue print. As of today April 21, 2017 they advised me that I was not in charge of this situation, but I was OK in April 2016 for charge of payment. They have failed to talk at all to widow spouse, but they did advise the tombstone was made and ready to ship in a week This is just not the tombstone of the deceased, this also represents the tombstone of a 80 year old woman whom looked through many brochures to pick the one of her choice. And Gregg's Funeral Home went off of a drawing. Even when I got to talk with Jim Edd, he himself stated that he kinda remembers what was on the tombstone. Ask to talk with the father (Don House), whom owns this establishment. And again no return calls.

I have to say if I could give no stars I would’ve.. I was extremely disappointed in how they treated my family and how they did my Mawmaw .. They messed up the flowers , didn’t wash her hair , and messed up the obituary picture .. etc It’s hard losing someone you love, but to have to go Thur all of it with a place that acts like they don’t care makes it way harder on the family .. was very disappointed.
