Nesmith County Park

This park it so lovely & simple . Nature trails tall trees a creek with swimming hole when the water is high . Fish ,birds ,squirrels. Picnic tables & bathrooms lots of parking located next the fairgrounds. Great place for family reunions. Dog friendly historic cemetery

We come to this park almost every single day! The walking path is light gravel, and very easy to tred. Parking lot is open and spacious. Picnic tables throughout and trash cans nearby. Down at you back/bottom is the creek to dip your feet in and cool off during the summer heat. No inside restrooms, but porta potties. We will always be repeat patrons.

A hidden gem of a park. A small swimming hole hidden behind a grove of trees, there is a cemetery on the land which is a quirky, historic addition. The park DOES close to the public, whether it's the end of the season, or events going on at the fairgrounds nearby, which I think is brilliant. Closing the park ensures that this place stays as beautiful and cared for as it deserves.

Great little creek to play with the kids at! Clear water, not too deep. Someone made a really cool slide in the clay and I went on it a few times. Had a great time and will be back for sure!

Love this little bit of forest within our farming community

Gorgeous hidden paths go check it out there's a little water area too inside . They have a few benches and 1 or 2 in ground bbq grills these redneck hillbillies seem to think are to make bonfires in.. so just remember n y'all Kno which ones u r that don't care .

Great creekside area with porta potty, tables, with wide walking paths. Excellent hawk, crane, small snake etc watching and our toddler grandkid loved it.

Only thing was it has pea-gravel walkways. If you are wearing saddles it is going to be a little uncomfortable. After that. Beautiful area. Fully shaded. Nice walk. Good day.

Amazing clean place for kids to play in the water! We had a picnic and it was great! The most cleanest place for water fun!

Great little park. Picnic tables, bathrooms, and this cool little family cemetery. Saw a herd of deer, a bald eagle, and so many birds!

Nice little park. Doesn't have an easy way to access Rickreall Creek. But quiet and peaceful.

Nicely maintained trails, river access, and a historic graveyard. There's also lots of shade.

We love it here but there are always people who take over your spot and you can't swim here but my dog likes it.

Great hidden gem never anyone else here. Great place to get away without driving to far.
