I am giving this 5 stars because for the cheapest (and also pet friendly) motel I could find, it was a pleasant experience. I read some reviews that had me concerned about smoke in some of the non-smoking rooms, and the gal at the front desk let me check out the room that was available before I paid. The room was clean and I liked that the parking was so close so I could keep an eye/ear on my vehicle. I will say that the walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything going on in the rooms next to and adjacent to you. I can see how your experience could quickly be ruined if you were next to someone playing the TV very loudly or talking loudly etc. but that isn't really anything they can do. Overall for a one nighter on a road trip, this was a great option. There is a burger place (not Burger King) that is a 2 minute walk that was amazing!

This is an old fashioned roadside motel. My room was small but immaculate and the most comfortable bed I’ve stayed in away from home. Staff was friendly and check in was quick. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Very clean, staff is sweet, nice little place to stay for the night. Coffee pot, fridge and microwave in the room and staff was really sweet. We asked for a room at 2am (yay bad planning) and we were accommodated. We will stay here next time in town!!

The Personnel are extremely friendly. The rooms are quaint, old fashioned and clean. The backdrop view outside is the mountains. I'm so happy I got to stay. The Old Town is in walking distance. The Veterans Park is in walking distance. Burger King and a convenient store are in their side lot.

Very clean, very cheap, a bit dated, and smallish rooms. I was on the fence about where to go in La Grande because even the Best Western has some disgusting horror story reviews. We had a very enjoyable stay and slept comfortably.

Something to note is that someone complained about one side being near a Burger King but once you are in your room you won't even notice it.

If you are on the fence like I was, just go here. I would definitely stay here again if I needed a room in La Grande.

The room was clean, comfortable, and in good condition. The wi-fi was great which is important to me as I work on it when I travel. The American owners were helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again. Get the room with Jacuzzi tub if possible.

Cheap night's stay if you need to have a stop over. $15.00 charge for pets. Reasonable price, clean pink bathroom. Pleasant night staff. Good tasting ice!

Super nice lady at the desk La-Dema :). Good price. Pet friendly! Pet fee $10.00. Room was decent for a motel. Bathroom clean. All expectations met! Right next to a gas station.

Very friendly staff. Room was fair and had a nice jetted bathtub. There wasn't a surprise per pet fee added on to the nightly fee. Would stay here again.

Beds are amazing, lady at front desk was very pleasant. We shall definately return for a stay... No need to pay big $ this little place worth every dime.

This is a great little Motel beautiful rooms small but well-appointed. Is run by a nice woman, who offers suggestions for nearby places. Recommend this place highly!

Clean room, very low cost for what you get. Pet friendly ($10 per dog). Rooms are small, but very good for the price.

This was our first time at this hotel the person at the front desk was very nice the room was clean and comfortable for an older hotel it was freshly painted and was very clean we will stay here again

Driving from Vancouver, we got to Oregon way later than we had anticipated. No problem, called the hotel and the wonderful front desk lady stayed up past midnight waiting for us, bless her soul

Comfortable bed. Love the whirlpool tub. I slept like a baby. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Great hotel. We stay here every time we come to La Grande. Wonderful service and really clean rooms. They're also pet friendly.
